Films such as "I Am Not Man-dame Bovary" and "Youth" show a certain degree of realistic criticism.Looking at Feng Xiaogang's past film creation,it is not difficult to find that his works always touch the real life at a certain level.Whether this is the reason for the popularity of his films,and whether there are certain rules and methods.At the same time,there is an inseparable relationship between artistic creation and real life.Therefore,the study of the relevance between Feng Xiaogang's film creation and real life,that is,the tendency of Feng Xiaogang's film creation from the perspective of "realism",has become the subject of this paper.The first part draws a conclusion that realism is a tendency by combing the tradition of "realism" and the concepts of "typical" and "reality".Then,it defines or explains the "realism tendency","reality" and "sense of reality" involved in this study.Finally,it draws a conclusion through combing the development of the traditional realism of Chinese films.The research methods and categories of this article are to generalize Feng Xiaogang's realistic tendency of film creation with corresponding modifiers according to the analysis of the content and theme of the text.The second part combines the social context of film creation and audience psychology to make a close reading and content analysis of Feng Xiaogang's works,and summarizes the concrete manifestations of his realistic tendency in film creation.The ideological theme of all his movies is "unified organic",which involves human,human nature and society(people and people).It can be divided into three parts: realistic criticism and historical reflection of contemporary society,love concept and family ethics of modern city,and "portrait and human nature discussion in multiple space-time".The third part summarizes the expressive methods of realism tendency through the analysis of the preceding part,including "association method","innovation method" and "derivative method".The expressive methods of works are mainly "law of attraction","type strategy" and the motif of "abandonment" and "salvation".The fourth part summarizes the main characteristics of realism tendency through the analysis of the preceding part.The main manifestations of creation are adaptability and purposefulness.The main manifestations of works are ornamental,absurdity,criticism and warmth.This part also points out which works have certain realities,which works belong to realistic themes and which works have realistic tendencies.In short,Feng Xiaogang's film creation can touch or explore reality,but the intensity and depth of reflecting reality and criticizing reality are not deep enough.The reasons are not only the creative strategies adapted to the film market and audience,but also the director's own creative ideas and commercial pursuits,as well as the "compromise" made to cater to the film censorship mechanism.With the emergence of a large number of realistic films in the past two years,as well as the rise of "virtual" and "holographic" technology,the topic of "realism" will continue to be the focus of attention in the film-making and theoretical circles in the future.The creation of realistic theme should pay attention to type strategy,realistic expression,realistic value and significance.
