Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Ecuador in 1980,relations between the two countries have become increasingly close.In November 2016,the relationship between the two countries was upgraded to a comprehensive strategic partnership.In September 2007,Ecuadorian President Correa visited China and held talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao on developing long-term stability,equality,mutual benefit and comprehensive friendship.In November 2016,President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Ecuador,which further strengthened the trade partnership between China and Ecuador [1].The close exchanges between the leaders of the two countries and the political and economic exchanges have become more frequent.The relations between China and Ecuador have warmed up.In recent years,the two peoples also have been closer to each other.The links between China and Ecuador are not only focused on politics and economic,it gradually transitioned to the level of cultural exchange.With the establishment of the first Confucius Institute,more and more Ecuadorians began to know China and know Chinese culture.Ecuador is located in central of South America and is the closest country to the equator.His two major cities are Guayaquil and Quito.There is only one Confucius Institute in Guayaquil,which is located in the Confucius Institute at the University of San Francisco,Quito.Branch.The development of the Confucius Institute in Guayaquil lags behind the Confucius Institute at the University of San Francisco,but even if the development of Chinese teaching in Quito is earlier than Guayaquil,the scale of development is larger than that of Guayaquil,and the development model is also better than Guayaki.Mature,Guayaquil has the unique development advantage as the largest port city in Ecuador.This paper takes Guayaquil's Chinese teaching as the research object,summarizes the shortcomings of Guayaquil's Chinese teaching in the development process,and investigates and analyzes the current problems of Guayaquil through questionnaires and interviews.And based on its problems,propose countermeasures tosolve the problem.This thesis is divided into six parts: The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research significance,summary of relevant research results,research content,research methods and innovations.The second part introduces the development of Chinese teaching in Guayaquil.Firstly,it investigates the Chinese teaching status of the three teaching points in Guayaquil.Secondly,it summarizes the inadequacies of the development of Chinese teaching in Guayaquil.Third,the investigation and analysis of the Chinese teaching situation in Guayaquil,this chapter is the core part of the paper.It is mainly divided into two parts: the questionnaire part and the interview part.The first is to distribute the investigation to the staff of Chinese teaching points and Chinese learners.Questionnaire,research and analysis of the recovered questionnaire.Secondly,through the interview results,the parents' views on the development of Chinese teaching in Guayaquil and suggestions for improvement are summarized.Fourth,the development advantages and existing problems of Chinese teaching in Guayaquil,according to the third part of the questionnaire and interview results,further analyze the development advantages of Guayaquil Chinese teaching and the problems in the development process.V.In view of the problems in Guayaquil's Chinese teaching and the future development direction,the prospects for the development of Chinese teaching in Guayaquil are predicted and forecasted.The fifth chapter concludes.
