The Study On Qingminghui In Bayu Area From Qing Dynasty To The Republic Of China

The Qingminghui is a clan organization with blood relationship as its link and with ancestor sacrifice as its main activity.It is very popular in traditional Chinese society.However,we know little about the Qingminghui in Bayu area from the Qing dynasty to the Republic of China.As the immigration area of "Huguang filling Sichuan" immigration activities,Sichuan and Chongqing area,because of the long-term war,plague epidemic,successive disasters,sharp population decline,almost has no clan system with the indigenous people scattered and survived.A large number of immigrants not only made up for the shortcomings of Sichuan population caused by war disasters,but also played a role in promoting the recovery and development of the immigrants.As an important means of gathering ethnic groups when foreign immigrants rebuild their society,the Qingming Festival should be paid more attention.This paper is divided into four chapters,mainly studying the Qingminghui in Bayu area from the Qing dynasty to the Republic of China.Chapter one mainly summarizes the basic situation of the Qingminghui and analyzes its origin,causes and evolution.The establishment of the Qingminghui is closely related to the thought of ancestor worship and the importance of ancestor graves.It is precisely because of the importance of ancestral graves,the deep-rooted thought of ancestral worship,coupled with the tradition of tomb sacrifice,that clans need to call on people to protect ancestral graves and to worship ancestors every year.Chapter two starts with the distinct regional characteristics of the Qingminghui in Bayu area.Originally,Qingminghui was established for ancestor worship,but in Bayu area,due to the particularity of immigrant families,Qingminghui become a natural carrier of tracing family origin,carrying the family's historical memory,which is the most prominent difference from Qingminghui in other areas.Drinking water is a source of thought for every immigrant.No matter where they live,they hope that theyand their descendants will know where they come from and where their roots are.This is a way for immigrant families to identify themselves psychologically and to acquire a sense of belonging.Yesterday is the foundation of today's prospects.The experience and achievements of our ancestors' arduous entrepreneurship are a valuable spiritual wealth for future generations.They not only stimulate the clan confidence of the descendants of immigrants,but also help to inherit and develop the spirit of pioneering and hard struggle,to carry forward the past and to create brilliance.Chapter three analyzes the four main functions of the Qingminghui in Bayu area:spiritual function,economic function,organizational function and educational function.As the core organization of immigrant families,on the one hand,Qingminghui,continuing its original role,is an important means of contacting and maintaining the feelings between the ethnic groups;on the other hand,the nature and characteristics of the immigrant family also give it distinct regional characteristics and more abundant functions.Chapter four analyzes the specific operation of the Qingminghui in Bayu area from Qing dynasty to the Republic of China,mainly studying its specific activity process,organizational structure and economic sources.The ancestors offered sacrificial fields and offered sacrificial ceremonies,which provided a certain material guarantee for the life of future generations.The centralized business activities of the organizations participating in the production show that the Qingminghui has become an independent operation unit,and the increase in the number of organizations of the Qingminghui means that the clan life has begun to differentiate,which is bound to have an impact on the traditional clan organizations.As a folk organization holding ancestor worship activities,the Qingminghui has been retained in the gene of Chinese traditional culture,as an important part of Chinese traditional culture.In recent years,Qingminghui has been held actively in many parts of the country,which shows that this cultural gene has strong vitality.
