With the development of China's market economy,the role of marketing in enterprises has become increasingly prominent.Social media marketing is undoubtedly the most popular and fastest-growing marketing tool.Considerable investments have been made to social media by enterprises.In addition,the globalization has become the trend of economic development.There are many foreign books about social media marketing.It is of great value for us to absorb and draw on the experiences of foreign countries in terms of social media marketing.Therefore,it is of great significance to translate books about marketing.This paper is the translation practice report of Social Media Marketing.Social Media Marketing introduces the marketing of social media and its role and clarifies the essence of social media marketing through various complicated marketing phenomena.Based on the translation of chapter three in Social Media Marketing,this paper elaborates the translation practice and analyzes the application of the three rules of Skopos theory in translation practice from the actual cases.Finally,this paper draws a conclusion about the translation practice.The main difficulty in the translation is how to make the translation text more understandable and acceptable for target readers.Under the guidance of three rules of Skopos theory,the author has adopted different translation methods as a way to make translation text more readable.The practice report covers four parts.The first part is the introduction of translation tasks including the brief introduction of the source text and the significance and goal of the task;the second part is the description of translation process,including the pre-translation preparation,translation process and post-translation quality control;the third part is the case analysis,including the theoretical basis,difficulties in the translation and translation strategies and methods;the fourth part is the summary of the translation practice including the problems to be solved and implications.In short,this translation practice accords with the Skopos theory,which can provide references for the translation of similar texts.
