Research On The Application Of Chinese Character Font Design Based On The Morphological Characteristics Of Ancient Yi

Character is a kind of information carrier with the longest history and the most unique symbol system to spread human culture.As an important part of the excellent traditional Chinese culture,Chinese characters are part of the words which maximize the preservation of traditional graphics.Therefore,in the field of information and visual communication design,the study of Chinese characters font is the study of graphics to a large extent.With the increasing of global influence of Chinese culture,Chinese characters font design has become a very important design research field which appeared a lot of excellent works of literature and art.At the same time,some excellent designers and researchers have gradually systematized the theory of Chinese character font design with the help of western art design concepts.More and more attention has been paid to the combination of design wisdom and modern design in traditional national culture,as well as the exploration of national design concepts which are different from western design concepts and western nationalization design idea of the design concept of exploration.Based on this background,and with the help of rich visual resources of multiple ethnic culture in Yunnan,this paper selects the ancient Yi language which also has a long history and graphic tradition as the research object of font design.It aims at the study of the ancient Yi language fonts morphological characteristics and extracting the unique word-formation methods and graphical methods,and combines it with the theme of "Yi like the Chinese character" design practice,creates a set of morphological characteristics of Chinese characters font design works based on the ancient Yi language.It also explores the application of nationalization design vocabulary in Chinese character font design and provides an idea for the research of nationalization design method.This paper makes a comparative analysis of ancient Yi and Chinese characters in terms of glyphs,systems and development,explores the feasibility of their application in font design of Chinese characters,and summarizes the methods of integrating the characteristics of ancient Yi strokes into font design of Chinese characters.It is divided into six chapters.The first chapter describes the background,current situation,significance,innovation,methods and the difficulties of the research.The second chapter elaborates the development of the ancient Yi language and the formation of characters,and focuses on the analysis of the characteristics of the ancient Yi language.The third chapter makes a comparative analysis of the ancient Yi language and Chinese characters,including the origin,structure,system and development of Chinese characters.The fourth chapter analyzes the excellent design cases and discusses the possibility of application Yi the morphological features of ancient Yi language in the font design of Chinese characters.The fifth chapter discusses the design technique and artistic expression of ancient Yi language in Chinese font.The sixth chapter summarizes the research and design application,and clarifies the application value of national design vocabulary in the font design of Chinese characters.
