Research On Chinese Character Font Design Based On The Characters Of Chinese Minorities

Writing is the carrier of cultural transmission.The development history of writing can be regarded as the history of the development of human civilization,and the font design is based on these words to beautify the design.As the process of globalization continues to advance,China's cultural influence is becoming greater and greater,and more and more font designers have begun to tap the local ethnic culture of China and inject local culture into font design.my country has fifty-six nationalities,and Chinese characters,as the country's universal text symbols,bear the important role of cultural exchange and dissemination.In addition,many ethnic groups have their own national scripts,which together form a splendid culture of Chinese scripts.The current process of globalization promotes cultural homogeneity,but it also restricts the protection of cultural diversity.Therefore,while vigorously promoting universal language and script,China has continuously strengthened the research and protection of minority scripts.These scripts are precious for our country.wealth.Based on this,the characteristics of Chinese minority characters are refined and applied to the design of Chinese fonts,the purpose is to protect our common characters,inherit cultural memory,let more people understand the splendid writing resources of the Chinese nation,and strengthen the inter-ethnic Cultural exchanges enhance national identity,promote national unity,and inject new inspiration into font design.This thesis takes Xinjiang,China,a region with rich writing resources as the representative,and takes Chinese minority writing as the starting point for design research on Chinese fonts.The first chapter elaborates the source of the topic selection,the domestic and foreign research literature review,the purpose and significance of the research,the research method,the research focus,difficulties,and innovations.The second chapter is to sort out the characters that are still in use in the ethnic minorities in Xinjiang,China,understand the cultural background of these characters,and analyze the character of the characters.Chapter three explores the development process and development needs of font design.From the perspective of font design and aesthetics,combined with the relevant knowledge of philology,psychology,semiotics,and computer,it analyzes excellent cases and proposes to use Chinese minority scripts as The necessity of Chinese character font design for design starting point.Chapter 4 uses visual language presentation to integrate and design innovative Chinese characters and Chinese characters,complete experimental font design,and provide new creative inspiration for font design.It can also allow more people to understand the Chinese minority script,inherit and protect the Chinese minority script,and open a new perspective for the protection of the Chinese minority script and font design.Chapter 5 summarizes the conclusions of the study,puts forward the research prospects and deficiencies,and clarifies the application value of font innovation based on the characteristics of Chinese minority characters as the design starting point.
