The Mandarin tone is one of the difficulties for CSL learners, especially for learners of non-tone language background. In order to help them to learn Mandarin tones,58 Bangladeshi students in Kunming's Universities were selected as subjects, based on two major experiments: perception and pronunciation. This paper studies the acquisition errors and tone development ability of Bangladeshi students in Chinese monosyllabic tones. After four months of recording, investigation, data collation and analysis,we find out the characteristics and rules of errors in the acquisition of monosyllabic tones by Bangladeshi students.First of all,the results of perception experiment show that Bangladesh students are the most difficult to sense rising tone, the easiest to sense falling-rising tone, rising tone and level tone are easy to confuse with each other and have symmetry;pronunciation experiments show that Bangladesh students' problem of tone pattern is large,so it is most difficult to learn falling-rising tone, and it is easy to confuse the falling-rising tone with the rising tone;there are more overlaps in acoustic space, and the mixing of four sounds is prominent: the tone pitch of level tone, rising tone and the falling tone first point are lower than that of the Chinese people's tone pitch, but the tone pitch of falling-rising tone folding point is not low enough; The order of perception and pronunciation difficulty is not symmetrical, order of tone perception is rising tone >level tone> falling tone >falling-rising tone;Middle and advanced students' order of difficulty in pronunciation is falling-rising tone> rising tone > falling tone / level tone, but primary level students have difficulty in four tones.Secondly, the acquisition of Mandarin monosyllabic tones by Bangladesh students is a process of dynamic development, and the development ability is consistent with it,but there is little difference between the initial and intermediate levels.Advanced students' acquisition is better, but there are still errors.Thirdly,it is found that there is no significant difference in the acquisition of Mandarin tones between Bangladesh male and female students, but the difference lies only in the difference of tone domain. Finally, the experiment shows that whether the common word factor is not significantly helpful to the perception of tone of Bangladesh students. In addition, the study has an interesting finding: Consonant and vowel difficulty has an impact on pronunciation of Mandarin tones, but it has different degrees of impact on Bangladesh students with different levels of Chinese.Based on this, this paper studies the influence of Mandarin tone complexity, the restriction of acquisition mechanism and the misleading of teaching materials, interference from other factors. This paper analyzes on the causes of the errors of the foreign students in Latin America, and puts forward four targeted suggestions: to carry out the teaching of Mandarin tone features and the comparison of tones,to strengthen the training of perception and pronunciation about tones, and to carry out multi-modal tone teaching, always emphasize and correct the tone problem.
