Under the trend of globalization of international Chinese teaching,there is a prominent contradiction between the growing demand for Chinese learning in Thailand and the supply of teachers.Cultivating and strengthening local Chinese teachers has become an inevitable way to solve this contradiction.The domestic research on"teaching concept" is basically based on the teaching concept of primary and secondary school teachers,Chinese teachers,especially local Chinese teachers teaching concept research is less,local Thailand Chinese teachers teaching concept research is even less.Therefore,this paper takes the teaching concept and influencing factors of local Chinese teachers in Chiang Mai city,Thailand as the content of investigation and research,in order to enrich the existing Chinese teachers' teaching theory and provide theoretical basis for improving the teaching quality of overseas local Chinese teachers.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview,this study makes an in-depth investigation and study on the teaching concepts and influencing factors of local Chinese teachers in Chiang Mai,Thailand.It is found that the local Chinese teachers in Chiang Mai City,Thailand,have a good view of knowledge and pay attention to the cultivation of students' understanding of knowledge,but the cultivation of ability consciousness is not enough.The view of learning,the view of teachers and students,the view of evaluation are relatively lagging behind.The view of learning pays attention to students'interest in learning Chinese,but it is mainly mechanical acceptance learning.The concept of teachers and students pays attention to students'interest in learning,but it is still teacher-centered.The evaluation view uses mechanical evaluation to diagnose the learning results,but lacks developmental evaluation.In addition,through the investigation,it is found that the impact on their teaching concepts comes from three aspects.First,a strong sense of identity as a teacher and the character of a teacher and friend.Second,teaching experience as the leading,learning experience as the auxiliary.The influence of teaching experience is dominant,and teachers through the summary of experience inductive learning,in all aspects of teaching can be changed and improved.Language learning experience provides teachers with auxiliary enlightenment,including classroom atmosphere grasp,teacher style and so on.Teachers improve the teaching situation and update the teaching concept by combining the theoretical knowledge of specialty,training,further study and so on with the teaching practice.Third,the environmental impact should not be underestimated.Among the environmental factors,the situation of students and schools has a significant impact on the formation of teaching concepts.Others include interpersonal relationship,teachers'interests and teachers' development,national society has a certain impact on the formation of teaching concepts.The suggestions put forward in this study are the promotion of teachers and the improvement of external conditions.Teacher promotion includes:establishing teachers'sense of identity and good personality,summing up and exchanging teaching experience,improving learning consciousness,enriching learning experience and actively adapting to the environment.The improvement of external conditions includes:the form of teacher training should be a variety of combinations and pay attention to the exchange of experience and training environment,the training content is detailed and hierarchical,pay attention to pertinence and keep pace with the times.Different types of schools should establish different Chinese teaching environment and provide teaching equipment,improve the teaching evaluation system,and provide opportunities for teacher development.The national society should establish a network platform for the exchange of Chinese teachers,introduce Chinese learning and teaching resources,protect the interests of teachers,actively hold academic seminars,and promote Sino-Thai cooperation.
