Taking the preface and postscript of Laozi in Ming Dynasty as the main research object,this paper analyzes its historical materials,literature and culture to highlight its academic value in the development of the literature in the Ming Dynasty.The first chapter analyzes the preface and postscript of Laozi in Ming Dynasty from the angle of historical materials.The value of historical materials in textual research author,revision and academic evolution are mainly investigated.The preface and postscript of Laozi in the Ming Dynasty retained a wealth of literature and materials,which could prove the authorundefineds life story,cause of creation and attitude towards learning,and examine the creation process and text style of the annotated edition of Laozi.Grasp the evolution of Laoxue in Ming Dynasty and the evolution of Laozi text.The second chapter discusses the preface and postscript of Laozi in Ming Dynasty from the angle of literature.Mainly from the stylistic and literary criticism two aspects to analyze its literary significance.Firstly,this paper discusses the development and evolution of preface and postscript style before Ming Dynasty,and points out the status and changes of preface and postscript style in Ming Dynasty.Secondly,it analyzes the stylistic features of the preface and postscript of Laozi in Ming Dynasty,which shows that both parallel prose and prose existparallel and scattered,various ways of expression,argumentation,lyricism,narrative,and comprehensive application of reasoning.Finally,the introduction and postscript of Laozi in Ming Dynasty were put into the perspective of literary criticism,and the application of the criticism methods of "knowing people on the world" and "reversing the will" clearly showed the practice and transformation of literary criticism in the Ming Dynasty.To a certain extent,the dissemination and acceptance of the old school in Ming Dynasty was restored.The third chapter interprets the preface and postscript of Laozi in Ming Dynasty from the angle of culture.The cultural thoughts and characteristics of Ming Dynastyrevealed in preface and postscript are emphatically analyzed.The preface and postscript of Ming Dynasty reflects the cultural characteristics of the unity of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism in the Ming Dynasty.The main manifestations are as follows: first,the close combination of Lao-Xue and Confucianism,not only has the political power characteristics of internal sage and foreign kings,but also shows The fusion of laozi and Confucius;The second is a new change in the way of the old and the return to the original,with emphasis on the discussion of "the way of nature" and the debate on "whether or not";The third is the concept of "three religions" under the harmony of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,which is not only based on Buddhism,idealism of three realms and idealism of ten thousand laws,but also three views of Taoism,one education,three religions based on Confucianism,and three religions based on heart,which presents a distinctive style of old learning in the Ming Dynasty.
