Huang Biyun is one of the most high-profile writers in Hong Kong in recent years.This paper selects two of her indomitable vitality novels,Portraits of Woman and Biographies of Man,as the main research objects.Both two novels are themed with "Lie",it means an unyielding vitality.They all use the same writing method that exhibit big things through small ones,although they are so different in expression,they all show Huang Biyun's determination to write the history of Hong Kong.All traumatized characters in two novels are undoubtedly epitomized by Hong Kong.Whether it use bloodiness and violence to present the cruelty and impermanence of fate,or understanding the truth from the triviality and silence of life,they all carried deeply trauma consciousness.This article discusses trauma in three chapters.The first chapter mainly analyzes the traumatic experience in her indomitable vitality novels,mainly from three aspects of national trauma,childhood trauma and female trauma.Besides,discussing the causes of these traumatic emergence.On the basis of the previous chapter,the second chapter further refines the characteristics of traumatic narrative.Through the analysis of narrative strategies such as narrative space-time,narrative perspective and so on,it explores multiple relations between narrative strategies and forms of trauma.The third chapter focuses on the repair of trauma in indomitable vitality novels.Through different attitudes of the characters towards trauma,Huang Biyun shows her continuous exploration of trauma recovery.It can be seen from the violent writing of Portraits of Woman to the diluted narration of the Biographies of Man that Huang Biyun prefers to be a storyteller than a writer.In the reconstruction of history,too realistic writing style usually causes the text to be embedded in the established central idea.Huang Biyun rejects to use this political writing,She is more inclined to give a voice to people who are otherwise silenced and marginalized.Revealing the diversity and fuzziness of individual destiny and social change from personal trauma,it not only shows huang biyun's reflection on individual life,but also reflects her thinking and exploration on the destiny of Hong Kong.
