China enjoys a long-standing and well-established friendship with Africa, and is getting increasingly bonded to each other in such aspects as trade, culture and politics since the beginning of trade contacts. As a major exported commodity and specialty culture product in Africa,Black African textiles are welcomed by people from all over the world owing to its distinct nationality. With the innovative design project of textile products of Shaanxi Xingzhou Textile Technology Co.,Ltd.as the research object, the author conducts an in-depth study into the design features of Black African textile pattern language, after which, the characteristic patterns and colors of Black African textiles are extracted on the basis of related documents of Black African culture and the pattern structures of its textile products and through comprehensive analysis of its pattern structure, color, culture features and techniques. Then, combined with the author's personal understanding,a pattern language with both traditional Black African cultural features and a modernity feel is contrived and even applied to the costume design of "Sunshine Girls",an intangible cultural heritage of Ewenki minority group. This design, born out of a much deeper understanding of Black African pattern design features, rolls the distinctive cultural features of two ethnic groups into one.Going beyond the traditional two-dimensional visual effects, the whole design seeks to bring out a modern pattern structure that conforms to the structural features of Black African textile pattern language from the multi-dimensional perspective of national culture, traditional modeling and common colors. There are five chapters in this paper. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the subject research, discusses the background and current situation of the topic from the general direction, and details the main content and innovation points of the subject. The second chapter makes a systematic analysis of the graphic art characteristics of Black African textiles from the aspects of graph theme, design characteristics, color and influencing factors. The third chapter is to elaborate the multidimensionality of graphics language from the aspects of concept, feature, design method and application display, which provides theoretical basis and support for later creative practice. The fourth chapter is the key chapter of this paper, seeing the transformation of theoretical practice into the practical progress. To begin with,on the basis of multi-dimensional pattern design ideas and the comprehensive consideration of such aspects as national culture, pattern composition and colors, and the use of techniques, the extraction of Black African textile patterns and colors is realized.Next,in combination with the author's personal understanding, four innovative pattern designs are achieved and applied to the costume design of "Sunshine Girls",an intangible cultural heritage of Ewenki minority group,to provide references for the integration of traditional Chinese culture and Black African culture and the realization of cultural output and exchange. The fifth chapter is the conclusion of this paper. The paper combines theory with practice, and displays the research results in the clothes of the representative image "Sun Girl" of Ewenki through the graduation works exhibition. It is hoped that the research in this paper can contribute valuable data in the aspect of "Graph Design and Application of Black African Textiles from Multi-dimensional Perspective",and provide a solid reference for future relevant research. There are 72 figures and 50 references included.
