This essay is a mixed empirical research.Firstly,We had a special research on Chinese textbooks used by international schools in Shanghai by a literature search.Combining the specific situations of these international schools and their teaching material characteristics,we counted and analyzed data based on the research,including distribution,sources,applicable objects of teaching materials,publishing sources,textbook notes,textbook skills and other aspects.Secondly,compared to the characteristics of Chinese teaching in international schools and its special demand for Chinese teaching materials with the conclusion we came up to.We could figure out the gain and loss of Chinese textbooks use in international schools.Furthermore,from the development and use of international school textbooks,we came up with some targeted suggestions for international schools,Chinese teachers,textbook developer and education department.This questionnaire aims to find advantages and disadvantages of Chinese textbooks use in China international schools,through the research and analysis of textbook using conditions in Shanghai international schools.According to this,to improve the pertinence and scientific use of teaching materials.Meanwhile,it is also beneficial to promote the development of Chinese curriculum construction in China international school.
