An Analysis Of Zhou Laixiang's Aesthetic Thought

Zhou Laixiang is a famous contemporary Chinese esthetician who has made outstanding contributions to the development of Chinese aesthetics.His aesthetic thought system is complete and unique,and has important theoretical value and practical significance.This article mainly explains Mr.Zhou's aesthetic thought from three aspects.The first is the elaboration of the theoretical origin of Zhou Laixiang's aesthetic thoughts,mainly from three perspectives: Western aesthetic theory,traditional neutralization thought and the development of contemporary aesthetics.Zhou Laixiang's aesthetic system traverses ancient and modern times,and is a dynamic and open system.Under the influence of Chinese and Western aesthetics,Zhou Laixiang merged and absorbed the beneficial achievements of various companies,and realized the improvement of the system during the development.The second is the systematic grasp of Zhou Laixiang's aesthetic thoughts,including his dialectical thinking methodology,aesthetic relationship theory,and the historical form of "three great beauty".Dialectical thinking is its unique methodology,occupying a very important position in his aesthetic system.Based on dialectical thinking,Zhou Laixiang's aesthetic thought put forward the theory of aesthetic relations starting from harmony through the integration of abstraction to concreteness,history and logic,and in the opposite movement of categories,specific and historical researches on the essence of beauty,Put forward the "three major" theories,divide the development of beauty in history into three historical forms: ancient harmony,modern lofty and modern dialectical harmony,and form its unique harmonious aesthetic thought system.Later,Zhou Laixiang conducted a more in-depth study of the sublime,ugly and absurd categories,perfected the theory of "three great beauty",expanded the inclusiveness of harmonious aesthetics,and realized the self-transcendence of the system.The last is the evaluation of Zhou Laixiang's contribution and limitation of aesthetic thought.Zhou Laixiang has always insisted on developing and perfecting his aesthetic system,and his harmonious aesthetic thoughts have developed with the development of social history.We should also continue to develop its research in depth.On this basis,the author makes an objective evaluation of his aesthetic thought with a dialectical and research perspective.This article attempts to systematically sort out and theoretically explain Zhou Laixiang's aesthetic thought,aiming to reveal the rich connotation and self-extension of Zhou Laixiang's aesthetic thought,study its unique value and theoretical limitations,and thus further understand harmonious aesthetics.
