On Alika's Figurative Painting Language And Its Enlightenment To Personal Creation

Israeli painter avigdor alica is known for his figurative expressionism.He painted quickly and His works are characterized by concise,intuitive and generalized picture effects.He is good at observing people and things in daily life,and endows people and things around him with special meaning.In the middle of the 20 th century,he suddenly stopped abstract painting and formed a realistic oil painter with a unique language.The research object of this paper is alika's painting style and the unique painting language in alika's works.The purpose of the study is to analyze the origin of the formal beauty of language in his pictures,and to make a breakthrough in both the painting style and the formal language,so as to improve my painting level.This paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter mainly introduces the life of avigdor alica and the influence of alika's social background and the characteristics of the works in different periods and the reasons for the change of painting style.The second chapter takes alika's art works as the main part.Through the analysis of the painter's ideas,composition,brushwork and color concept,we find the unique method of alika's works.The third part,combined with my own works,talks about my understanding of the way of seeing things and the formal language of alica.This paper only analyzes the unique painting quality of alica from my personal point of view,so as to help their own creative practice,and also hopes to provide a better inspiration for everyone in the future.
