The study of Buddhist literature in Luoyang in Tang dynasty is aimed at the poems and articles created by the literati under the influence of Buddhist culture in Luoyang in Tang dynasty.According to the stages of literary creation and the change of luoyang's political status,poetry creation can be divided into two periods: the early and prosperous Tang dynasty and the middle and late Tang dynasty.Specifically speaking,poetry creation in the early Tang dynasty was greatly influenced by The Times.One emperor,Wu Zetian,as the representative,wrote poems to sweep away the decadence and magnificence of court poetry,which showed his great admiration for Buddhist culture,especially the sect of Huayan.Confucian scholars,represented by Shen Quanqi,Song Zhiwen creation reflects the ruler for the praise highly of Buddhism,show more discount for monk,plagued the Buddhist temple grand scene,less involved in the Buddhist interpretation.The poetry creation of the prosperous tang dynasty was the peak of Chinese poetry creation,with a great number of famous artists and excellent works.In Meng Haoran's poems,he extolled the Buddha in the mountain,realized the enlightenment in the landscape,and Chu Guangxi entered the Buddha by the way,knowing the nature of the heart.Gao Shi and Cen Shen enter Buddhism through buddhist meditation in the Tang dynasty,their poetry has a long artistic state.In the Tang society,Wei Yingwu was familiar with the Lankavatara Sutra,and he wrote poems that were clean ang refined.At the same time,Luoyang Buddhist poetry creators in Bai Juyi's most representative,Bai Juyi was closely related to Buddhism,particularly in Luoyang residents of Xiangshan Temple in Longmen,poetry in plain,simple language and common image as the carrier,easy to understand for Buddhist principles.In the late Tang dynasty,when the society was in turmoil,the poet Liu Cang frequently visited the temples in Luoyang area.In addition to poetry,there are about 20 Tower inscription in the Buddhist literature of luoyang in Tang dynasty.First of all,the writing mode of the preamble in the front and the inscription in the back.In terms of content,Tower inscription is mostly written by literati orbuddhist disciples for eminent monks,which truly records the deeds of eminent monks in life,depicts the character and moral knowledge of eminent monks,and the sect to which they belong.In the artistic technique,The preamble in the front and the inscription in the back,and the combination of verse of verse and prose.Literary sketches are also a kind of Buddhist literature creation in Luoyang.Through these novels related to Luoyang Buddhism,we can see the policies of the rulers of the Tang dynasty and the influence of Buddhism on the society and literature of later generations.At the same time,the novel also describes some magical and supernatural characters,showing the unique style of buddhist literature.The Buddhist literary works of Luoyang in the Tang dynasty,no matter poetry,Tower inscription and Literary sketches,all present a unique brilliance,shining in the temple of Chinese culture.
