Music is the voice of culture and emotion.According to the archaeological research,music arose as early as the middle paleolithic period and matured progressively in the late paleolithic period.As one of the distinctive musical instruments of Chinese nation,the development of Chinese zither art is closely bound up with the long social development of China.The study of Chinese ancient music history indicates that Chinese zither appeared in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period,even earlier,and it first blossomed on the historical stage during Qin and Han dynasty.The unprecedented prosperity and flourish of society,politics,economy and culture in Tang dynasty,as well as the implementation of opening policy to foreign countries,promote the dramatic development of Chinese zither music.Additional,the techniques of performance and manufacture of Chinese zither were improved constantly in the Tang Dynasty.And the full development of Chinese zither at that era reached its peak in the history.Additional,the techniques of performance and manufacture of Chinese zither were improved constantly in the Tang Dynasty.And the development of Chinese zither was so comprehensive that lifted itself to the peak in the history at that era.Influenced by the commercial development,the art of Chinese zither became both elegant and vulgar during the Song and Yuan dynasties,integrating into the folk gradually as a status of court music.By the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Chinese zither was known for its "vulgarity" and its combination with local opera music,rap music and other folk music laid a foundation for the development of various Chinese zither styles.From then on,the art of Chinese zither began to verge on popularity and Chinese zither inclined to be a type of musical instrument appealing to both refined and popular tastes eventually.When poising their hands and flicking the strings,performers convey the internal emotions and then draw the scenes through the powerful and thrilling sound,presenting the historical stamp and characteristics of times to the public in different melodies and forms of expression.The abundant and various performance techniques of Chinese zither provide the players with performance space.Therefore,using fingers to complete various techniques accurately and presenting variegated rhythms,dynamics and timbre have become the most direct way of emotional output for players.The Chinese zither has reached a broader stage for its outstanding performance influence and a larger body of art lovers through more than two thousand years' development.All the links from the design of the stage to the makeup and costumes of the performers have been arranged elaborately,with the purpose ofpresenting a wonderful audio-visual effect for the large audience.Nevertheless,the development of everything is not well-off.Problems more or less will occur in the development,so will the Chinese zither music development.However,the development of Chinese zither stage art triggers a series of problems currently,such as the general "soft beautification" of Chinese zither performance,the "emphasis on the outside while light the inside" and the "kitsch" phenomenon of Chinese zither performance.There is a biased aesthetic performance of Chinese zither stage,which sacrifices the artistic connotation of Chinese zither to a great extent and leaves a peacockish shell.As a professional Chinese zither learner,the author will elaborate the authenticity of the stage performance of Chinese zither,combining with what she has seen,heard and learned.This paper will fall into the introduction,the body(including three chapters)and the conclusion.The author expounds the source of topic selection and the status quo of the present study of the aesthetics of Chinese zither stage performance in the introduction.The first chapter defines the definition and value of "Chinese zither stage" and its form of performance primarily.The second chapter mainly analyzes the crux of the present aesthetic disorder of Chinese zither stage performance based on the aesthetic concept of "Neutralization" represented by "music records".At the end of this chapter,the author will combine the previous experience and personal thinking to express the real nature of music,expound the necessity of "combination of hardness with softness","music from the heart","refined and popular" in today's Chinese zither stage performance.In the conclusion,the author will explain the importance of correct performance aesthetics in the development of Chinese zither art according to the analysis of the main body and the necessity of Chinese zither as an important carrier of Chinese music culture,so as to avoid the "sword goes to the front" phenomenon in stage performance aesthetic turning up.
