Recently,in the context of China's construction of the "The Belt and Road Initiative",China has established close cooperation and win-win relationships with many countries.Language,as a carrier of people's communication plays a great role in this situation.As the only official language in China,Chinese has begun to be recognized and learned by more and more people.Thailand is located in Southeast Asia and is an important part of the “The Belt and Road Initiative”.There are 16 Confucius Institutes and 11 Confucius Classrooms in Thailand.To a certain extent,all of the Thai royal family,government and people attach importance to Chinese learning.The contribution of native Chinese teachers in the development of Chinese language teaching cannot be ignored.However,at this stage,the problem of Thai native Chinese teachers is still an important factor hindering the development of Thai Chinese teaching.So what is the current status of Thai Chinese teachers and what are the problems in the development process?This is a very interesting and worthy research topic.So this thesis take Maritime Silk Road Confucius Institute at Phranakhon Rajabhat University as an example,have a study on the local Chinese teachers of this institute and the subordinate schools,in order to further explore the current situation and problems of Thai Chinese teachers in Thailand.According to the study,at present,local Chinese teachers have the following problems: firstly,the structure of the local Chinese teachers is irrational,and lack of experienced local Chinese teachers;secondly,the quality of local Chinese teachers is uneven,the skills of their teaching method needs to be improved,and most of them lack of the Chinese culture knowledge;thirdly,the training of local Chinese teachers is insufficient,and the management of the local Chinese teacher needs to be improved.Based on the analysis of the survey results and the actual situation in Thailand,suggestions for improvement measures are proposed for the Confucius Institute,the Thai side,and the teachers themselves.The purpose of this study is to further realize the current situation of local Chinese teachers in Thailand,what problems exist,how to develop in the future,how to promote the development of local Chinese teachers in Thailand.Achieves a good fit between Chineseeducation and the actual situation in Thailand,and further promotes the development of Chinese education in Thailand.
