Research On The Cultural Creative Design Of The Clay Sculpture Of Nie Jiazhuang Under The Background Of The Rural Revitalization Strategy

The strategy of "rural vitalization" is a strategic policy aimed at resolving the problems of weak rural economic construction and unbalanced urban and rural development in China.The instructions of the state council of the CPC central committee on the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy issued by the CPC central committee and the state council clearly pointed out that,"To attain rural revitalization,industrial prosperity is the key".It can be seen that the key measure of rural revitalization is to activate the rural economic development by developing industries.China has large area of widely scattered rural regions which are featured by high population and high distinctions of economic advantages.Thus,for each region,it is necessary to adopt economic policies that are suitable to its local conditions.This thesis selects the national intangible cultural heritage--Nie Jiazhuang clay sculpture as the research objective.Following the call of the rural revitalization strategy,this research explores the revitalization path through cultural creative designing as to provide some references for the revitalization and development of rural regions sharing similar commonalities such as economic advantages or natural resources.The first chapter of this thesis mainly discusses the existing literatures conducted by both domestic and foreign scholars from their methodologies,research objectives and significance of their contributions.The second chapter first introduces the meaning and importance of cultural creative designing on intangible cultural heritage for the rural revitalization strategy.Then,based on literature review,we adopt the ideology of speculative philosophy to analyze its economic value,cultural value and ecological value at the macro level,which justifies the feasibility of cultural creative designing on intangible cultural heritage to facilitate the rural revitalization strategy.The third chapter introduces the origin,development and artistic characteristics of the clay sculpture in Nie Jiazhuang to prepare the discussion of cultural landscape genetic analysis in the next chapter.The first section of the fourth chapter discusses the artistic characteristics of intangible cultural heritage of all national clay sculptures in China and locate a relatively complete "cultural coordinate" for the clay sculpture in Nie Jiazhuang.Second section of the fourth chapter analyzes the prominent features of Nie Jiazhuang clay sculptures and its cultural landscape genes based on cultural landscape genetic theory through the method of observation,comparison and literature analysis.We obtain six primary t characteristics,17 secondary characteristics and 27 genes of cultural landscape and provide theoretical support for Nie JiaZhuang's cultural creative designing of clay sculpture.Chapter five first carries out SWOT analysis of the clay sculpture of Nie Jiazhuang,based on which,we establish the design principles for the clay sculpture of Nie Jiazhuang with the help of expert's opinion and results of questionnaires.Based on this,the cultural and creative design of the clay sculpture in Nie Jiazhuang was carried out from three aspects:the creating approach of the clay sculpture itself,the cultural creative products(art derivatives)and the creative landscape.
