This report is based on the third edition of Issues in Cultural Tourism Studies written by Melanie K.Smith, which aims to explore the overview and.analysis of key issues related to cultural development under tourism research.Tourism text is often featured by rich information and flexible language, which means that translators need to express the information in both objective and accurate language. There are a large number of non-finite verbs in the book, acting as different components in the sentences. Therefore, this paper focuses on the study of the translation methods of the non-finite verbs in this text.In this report,on the basis of three principles of Skopos Theory proposed.by Hans J·Vermeer, the author aims to study the choice of translation methods of non-finite verbs in tourism texts by analyzing different components of non-finite verbs in sentences. The report finds that flexible translation methods, such as literal translation, free translation, word addition, conversion translation and word meaning extension, can be adopted to deal with the translation problems and achieve a high-quality translation. It is hoped that this translation practice can broaden the horizon of the readers and give help to the related translation research of cultural tourism in the future.
