Wu Zuxiang(1908-1994)is a modern novelist active in the literary world in the1930 s.At first,his short "bankruptcy theme" novels attracted the attention of literary critics,and he was praised as "the first-class novelist" by Sima Changfeng.This paper attempts to explain the artistic style and value significance of Wu's 1930 s bankruptcy novels from the economic perspective of literature,from the three aspects of Southern Anhui's economic landscape,multiple narrative mechanism and economic figures,combined with Western Narratology and Freud's psychoanalysis theory,in order to provide some inspiration for us to explore the diversity of 1930 s literature.The introduction part mainly expounds the reason and research significance of this paper,and combs the research status of Wu's "bankruptcy theme" novels.The first chapter takes the economic dynamic and Huizhou culture as the gathering point,analyzes the novel art of Wu's novels on the construction of economic landscape in southern Anhui.From the dynamic writing of the rural economy,the daily life of the people in southern Anhui and the regional sentiment of Huizhou,this paper discusses the writer's aesthetic writing of Huizhou culture under the dynamic representation of Southern Anhui economy,and analyzes the "change" of Huizhou culture under the dynamic observation of economy.The second chapter discusses the multi narrative mechanism from the perspective of economy and the writer's creative ideas.Combined with the western narrative theory,with the appropriate introduction of the narrative mechanism,the irony of the narrative is also sad and happy,and the "bright tail" of the intentional alienation and other performances,this paper analyzes the emotional tendency and creative concept of Wu's narrative mechanism,which shows that the writer's economic perspective is gradually mature.The third chapter mainly analyzes the typical character images in the novel.Combining Freud's psychoanalysis theory and the background of 1930's,this paper focuses on restoring the characters to the historical scene,analyzing the realistic situation and survival choice of the series of characters such as "bankrupt farmer","unemployed shop Gang" and "despondent squire" portrayed by them,perspective the writer's writing attitude and emotionaljudgment when portraying the characters,and analyze the writer's perspective of observing social life Position.The conclusion summarizes the full text,expounds the difference and connection between Wu's "bankruptcy theme" novels and left-wing literature,social analysis literature,and points out that Wu's novels not only inherited the regional sentiment of the local literature in the 1920 s,but also influenced the artistic pursuit of the revolutionary literature in the 1940 s.Wu Zuxiang is good at describing the economic dynamic and local conditions of Southern Anhui,telling the "bankruptcy story" with multiple narrative mechanisms,depicting many kinds of economic figures in the context of "economic bankruptcy",showing a "literary concern from the economic perspective".Wu's "bankruptcy theme" novels got rid of the shortcomings of formula and conceptualization in "Revolutionary Literature" at that time,and began to turn to the creation of "realistic literature" with distinct personality,so it has historical transitional significance.
