A Study Of The Training Of Interpreting For Foreign Affairs From The Perspective Of Theory Of Mass Communication Effects

With the acceleration of globalization,a great number of high-quality foreign interpreters are urgently needed in China since China has more opportunities to participate in international affairs.However,there are still some problems about training interpreters.Therefore,it is supposed to strengthening the research on systematic interpretation training.This paper analyzes the activities of foreign interpretation from the perspective of communication effect theory,and tries to put forward the training methods of foreign interpretation.Communication is a subject of information communication.Effect research,the last link of information communication progress,mainly studies the final effect of the whole process of information communication and the factors that affect these effects.Eugene Nida holds the point of view that translation is a special way of information communication.Professor Lu Jun has tried to combine translation with communication and put forward the concept of translation communication.Some domestic scholars have tried to put forward the concept of translation effect.Therefore,this paper takes the advantage of the theory of effect to analyze foreign affairs interpretation,trying to find out the factors that affect the foreign affairs interpretation activities,so as to put forward reasonable training methods.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is introduction.The second part is literature review,which summarizes communication and effect theory,and introduces the main documents that have been used in interpretation training before and some documents that have been applied in translation.The third part discusses the application of communication effect to foreign affairs interpretation.In the fourth part,with some examples of foreign affairs interpretation,the corresponding training methods are put forward by using communication theory.The fifth part summarizes the shortcomings of the paper and looks forward to the future.
