A Study Of Quantity Categories In Du Fu's Poetry

“Quantity” is one of the important categories for human beings to understand and express the world.In human cognition,objective things,events,traits and so on all have the factors of "quantity".The quantity category of language is formed when the quantity of cognitive category is projected into the language system,nouns are related to the quantity of things and the quantity of space,verbs are often related to the momentum,and adjectives are closely related to the quantity of properties.Therefore,the category of quantity has become a hot topic in the linguistic field.Based on the achievements of Li Yuming,Zhao Guojun,Zhang Guoxian and others on the category of quantity in Chinese,this paper makes a preliminary study on the phenomenon of category of quantity in Du Fu's poems.In the introduction part,it briefly introduces the origin of the topic selection and the significance of the research,the current research situation of the category of Chinese quantity and the language of Du Fu's poems,as well as the research methods.The first to third chapters of this paper focus on the quantitative category phenomenon in Du Fu's poetry.In the first chapter,the system of Du Fu's poetry quantity is established.The quantity class system includes the basic quantity class and the derived quantity class,in which the basic quantity class is divided into the material quantity,the momentum,the character quantity,the time quantity and the space quantity;The derived quantity mainly includes objective quantity and subjective quantity,bounded quantity and unbounded quantity,real quantity and exaggerated quantity,exact quantity and approximate quantity,etc..The Second Chapter mainly inspects the expression means of Du Fu's poetry quantity category,including the means of part of speech,the means of reduplication and the means of rhetoric.The third chapter focuses on the characteristics of quantitative category in Du Fu's poems,which is characterized by comparison,concealment and multi-layer.The Fourth Chapter discusses the relationship between the quantitative category and culture in Du Fu's poems from the perspective of cultural linguistics.On the one hand,we can see various cultural phenomena from the quantitative category,on the other hand,cultural Psychology has more or less influence on the expression of quantitative category.
