The Study On Qis Clan In Pingshu Village,Shouyang County,Shanxi Province

The Qis clan of Pingshu Village,Shouyang County,Shanxi Province,moved from Hongdong to Pingshu Village of Shouyang at the end of Yuan Dynasty,rose in Ming Jiajing and prosperous in the period of Daoguang,Xianfeng,Tongzhi.In the period of Guangxu of Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,the reputation of the Qis clan continued.This paper does a more comprehensive study about the Qis clan from the following four aspects.The first chapter investigates the origin and rise of the Qis clan in Pingshu Village.From the seventh to the tenth is its rise stage.The great territorial environment and strong humanistic atmosphere in Shouyang County of Shanxi Province have created conditions for the rise and development of the Qis clan.At the end of Yuan Dynasty,the Qis clan moved to Pingshu Village,Shouyang County,and then the clan gradually multipfied into four strands:South,East,West and Middle.What's more,its rise laid the foundation for the follow-up development of the clan.The second chapter mainly studies the development of the Qis clan.From the eleventh to the fifteenth is the development stage of Qis clan.The academic and political achievements of Qi Yunshi,an outstanding figure of the 15 th Qis clan,laid a thorough foundation for its prosperity.The third chapter mainly studies the study about the situation and social and political activites of the Qis clan based on its prosperity and continuation.The 16 th is the height of the Qis clan,and its the political prestige from the 17 th to the 19 th has been continued.As the typical examples,Qi Junzao and Qi Suzao,the outstanding figures of the 16 th generation of the Qis clan,are statesmen of great prestige being honest and devoted to duties.At the same time,this paper makes a textual research on the outstanding figures such as Qi Shichang,Qi Shiqian and Qi Shizeng,who were extend political prestige in the extension period from the17 th to the 19 th generation of the Qis clan.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the reasons for the prosperity and continuation of the Qis clan.It mainly include self-cultivation,the promotion of Manchu and Mongolian aristocrats and Han courtiers,and the marriage with the literati clan and so on.On the basis of the above analysis and research,the conclusion makes an overall evaluation of the rise and development of the Qis clan and the academic achievements,political accomplishment and social and political activites of the outstanding figures of the Qis clan.
