An Introduction To Japanese Translation Literature In The Republic Of China

Since the late qing dynasty,under the trend of the eastward spread of western learning,the introduction of Japanese literature has become one of the main contents concerned by Chinese scholars.In the period of the Republic of China,a large number of introduction to Japanese literature flooded into China,which not only enriched the framework system of related knowledge of introduction to Chinese literature,but also had important enlightenment significance for the development and perfection of Chinese literature discipline and literary concept.In addition,the research on the introduction of Japanese translation literature in the Republic of China period has certain reference significance for the development of Chinese literature theories and the compilation of Chinese literature theory textbooks.This paper takes the introduction of Japanese translation literature in the Republic of China period as the research object,trying to outline the development of the introduction of Japanese translation literature in the Republic of China period.In this paper,an introduction to Japanese translation in the period of the Republic of China is divided into three stages:the initial period(1924-1926),the peak period(1927-1936),and the final period(1937-1949).In the high tide period,the research methods and application of sociology of literature,history of literary criticism,introduction to literature,principles of poetry and introduction to drama are the representatives.The closing period is represented by how to create and appreciate.In order to make a clearer analysis of the development of the Japanese translation literature in the Republic of China,this paper not only focuses on the representative works,but also summarizes the relevant Japanese translation literature in the same period.The research resultsshow that the four Japanese translations in the initial period are mainly concerned with literary essence,such as literary definition,literary characteristics,literary origin,literary elements,literary criticism and literary appreciation,and the relationship between literature and various social factors.27 introduction to Japanese translation literature in the high tide focuses on the nature of literature and the relationship between literature and social factors.On the basis of the previous research,there was a new development in the introduction to Japanese translation literature in this period,with more types of literary studies such as novels,poems,operas and fairy tales.In addition,European literature has become the main research object in the peak period.Ending period,introduction to literature is a,compared with the first two stages of this period,introduction to literature translation sharply reduced in number,cross-sectional study basically at a standstill,longitudinal study of some achievements in the novel,the novel is divided into full-length novels,medium-length novels and short stories three types,and discusses the first person,second person and the third person novel perspective.On the basis of the research in stages,the overall development of Japanese translation literature in the Republic of China period is roughly as follows: first,from the perspective of quantity change,the introduction of Japanese translation literature in the Republic of China period presents a low-high-low change trend;From the perspective of content,the introduction to Japanese translation in the period of the Republic of China involves literature introduction,literature history,literature criticism,literature appreciation and other essential issues of literature,as well as the relationship between literature and various social factors.The style of literary research has also changed from single to multiple,from taking poetry as the main research object to forming a trend of studying various literary types,such as poetry,novel,drama,fairy tale and prose,etc.The research degree has changed from shallow to deep along with the research content,and it no longer stays in the basic research of literary definition and literary type.But on the whole,poetry and novels are the focus of the works,prose,drama,fairy tale belong to the edge of research objects;From the perspective of country,the introduction of Japanese translation literature in the Republic of China mainly discusses European literature and art,andfew books mention Japanese literature and art as well as Asian literature and art such as China.From the perspective of innovation,imitation was more important than creation in the introduction to Japanese translation literature in the Republic of China period.Most of the works mainly discussed the knowledge related to the introduction to literature in Western Europe,and did not form their own unique system of introduction to literature.
