With the advent of the new media era,more and more kindergartens and early childhood training institutions have also set up English courses for early childhood.Early childhood English teachers play a key role in early childhood English education.However,due to the influence of many factors,there are many problems in the teaching of early childhood English education.The society pays more and more attention to early childhood English education.It is one of the important tasks of preschool education in Higher Vocational Colleges to cultivate early childhood English teachers to meet the needs of the society.This paper mainly studies the current teaching situation of early childhood English education in higher vocational colleges,and how to optimize the course of early childhood English education,so as to cultivate early childhood English teachers who not only master the professional knowledge and skills of preschool education,but also have the ability of early childhood English education and teaching.Based on the literature research,this paper finds that the research on "early childhood English Teaching" in China is more in-depth and has been started for a long time,but the research on "early childhood English teacher training" and "early childhood English education" course teaching is indeed less and not comprehensive.Through sorting out the literature,it is found that there are some teaching problems in the teaching of this course,such as the allocation of teachers,the setting of courses,the content of teaching,the method of teaching and the selection of teaching materials.On the basis of literature review,the author analyzes the teaching theory of "early childhood English education".The purpose of higher vocational colleges is to cultivate practical talents.Therefore,the teaching of this course should take the demand theory as the theoretical basis of investigation and research,so that the course teaching can meet the needs of the target industry,students' learning and teaching.At the same time,it is necessary to take the constructivism learning theoryas the theoretical basis of the teaching reform countermeasures,and fully stimulate the students' initiative and enthusiasm in learning.In the process of analyzing the teaching characteristics of early childhood English education,the author makes clear the investigation direction and reform direction of the current situation of early childhood English education in higher vocational education.Before the investigation of the current situation of the course of early childhood English education,the author studies and analyzes the specific situation of the teaching reform of early childhood English in X College,including the teaching problems in the course of early childhood English education in X College,the main measures of the teaching reform of the course of early childhood English education in X College,and draws some successful experience from the teaching reform of X College As a reference for the teaching reform of early childhood English education in a college.Based on the in-depth study of the theory of needs analysis and the questionnaire and interview outline of X College,the author conducted a survey on the current situation of the teaching of early childhood English education in a college.The survey process is mainly divided into three stages: the first stage is pre survey,the first stage is small-scale questionnaire survey,and the survey questions are properly adjusted according to the results;the second stage is formal survey,which respectively surveys the 2017 and 2018 pre-school students of a college,relevant personnel of the preschool education industry and teachers of English education for young children.In the third stage,the collected data are analyzed from the aspects of "teachers,curriculum,teaching content" to understand the current teaching situation of the course.Through analyzing and sorting out the data,we can see that the teaching of "early childhood English education" in a college mainly has the following problems:first,most of the teachers of "early childhood English education" are teachers of English education major,lack of early childhood English teaching experience;second,students are relatively complex,basic English level and learning Poor habits and low enthusiasm for learning;3.The lack of teaching methods and activity design for children's English,and the existence of biased,old and difficult teachingmaterials;4.The lack of class hours in curriculum setting,unable to complete teaching tasks;5.The lack of effective guidance in practice outside the school,and the practice goal is not clear;6.The comparison of teaching methods Seventh,the evaluation method does not test the students' English teaching ability.Based on the analysis of the current teaching situation of the course,the author puts forward the following suggestions: first,strengthen the training of teachers' teaching ability from the three aspects of "English education","young education" and communication ability;second,adjust the course setting,appropriately increase the class hours,and clarify the course positioning;third,take "student-oriented,employment oriented" Optimize the teaching content based on ability,specialty and practicality;use diversified teaching methods such as situational teaching method,game teaching method and whole sense teaching method;use the training base through reasonable planning of time and standardized management mode;optimize the evaluation method from four aspects such as evaluation objective and evaluation method.
