With the acceleration of the pace of economic globalization,the exchanges of science and technology between China and the world have become more and more frequent.High-tech medical devices and equipments are among the fastest growing industries in the world.In recent years,the introduction of medical devices in China has also increased.Therefore,there's a growing demand for translation of medical texts.The source text selects section 1 to 9 of SNART Imaging System User's Guide of some medical device corporation and mainly introduces the part name,application and maintence method of SNART imaging system.Guided by functional equivalence theory,this thesis systematically analyzes the main factors affecting the translation of the source text from the syntactic,lexical and stylistic levels.The feasible translation skills and strategies for dealing with these problems are summarized through respective case studies.The translation can more accurately convey the original information and provide some reference experience for the translation of similar texts in the future by reasonable use of these translation techniques and strategies. |
