Zhu Xi divides human nature into two different parts, one is nature of justice, and the other is nature of temperament. This leads to the theory that someone is born good and someone is born bad, which is not good to protect the theory of all human-being is born good.Zhu's idea also divides verity and nature into two different things, and holds the idea that human and objects share the same verity so that they are the same at essence.Human's subjectivity is declined in this idea.Later Zhu wants to raise nature's status, but does not deal with the relationship of verity and nature properly. It also do harm to the theory of all human-being is born good.Zhu Xi divides many conception into two opposite parts, not only the concept of verity and nature and the nature of justice and nature of temperament, and many other conceptions. This leads to the incoherent of thing-in-itself and methods to realize it.Wang Yangming and his later followers try to remedy it,but they gradually goes to the opposite.During the later Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty, commodity economy develops rapidly. And human's nature desire is required to be given a reasonable status. The raise of the status of nature and the nature of temperament is essential. The status of nature and the nature of temperament is declined in Zhu's thought.Wang Yangming try to raise it,but has not develop a systematic doctrine of nature of temperament. To protect the theory of all human-being is born good is a topic talked about by scholar in every period of history, and Liu Zongzhou is included. To protect the theory of all human-being is born good, and to develop a balance relationship between thing-in-itself and methods to realize it,and also to the require of raising the status of nature and nature of temperament.Liu raises a statement that nature of justice is the nature of temperament. The raise of this statement combine the nature of justice and the nature of temperament into one thing, which properly resoles the problems of Zhu's theory.Putting justice and nature into human heart makes human-being' s nature different from object' s nature, which raises human' s subjectivity.Reverse to Zhu Xi's idea that justice is the world's source and nature comes from justice,Liu thinks that nature is the origin of the world and justice comes from nature. This reverse solves the problems of Zhu's theory, and protect the theory that all human-being is born good.Different to Zhu's theory that divides many conception into two opposite parts,Liu combines these parts into one.Liu thinks that justice is nature, and heart of justice is heart of nature, and nature of justice is nature of temperament. The concept of justice, heart of justice and nature of justice is just the principles that nature, heart of nature and nature of temperament take place.Besides,Liu develops a theory of " Shen Du",which combines thing-in-itself and methods to realize it together. And this theory raises human's moral consciousness and subjective initiative immensely.Liu's nature of temperament, not only solve the problems of Zhu and Wang, but also influences the later scholars.Inside the school of Ji Shan,Huang Zongxi carries on most of Liu's thinking, including the thought of nature of temperament.Although Chen Que has not talk more about justice and nature and human nature, but he also carries on Liu's nature of temperament.Influencing by the era background, some scholars outside the school of Ji Shan, such as Lu Shiyi and Yan Yuan, has turned out to be similar to Liu's nature of temperament naturally or half unconsciously,no matter what school they are belonging to.The thought of Liu Zongzhou is another peak after Zhu Xi and Wang Yangming during the Song and Ming Dynasties. As the last person of the theory of justice in the Song and Ming Dynasties,Liu' s thought has much fields that need to be explored.
