Research On Female Costumes’ Color In Tang Dunhuang Fresco Based On Digital Image Processing Technology

The Tang Dynasty,as the most developed and powerful dynasty in China’s history,created unique color characteristics of women’s clothing in its development process.As the treasure of human art civilization,Dunhuang fresco is the representative of the real record of China’s ancient clothes and costumes.At present,scholars mainly focus on the study of text theory in the study of traditional clothing color,but there are relatively few special studies on the digital analysis of traditional clothing color.With the rapid development of computer technology in recent years,it brings an opportunity for further research on the color of traditional clothing.Therefore,this paper combines the mathematical intelligent algorithm with the research on the color culture of traditional clothing.Based on k-means clustering algorithm and association rule algorithm,this paper conducts an in-depth study on the color of female clothing in Dunhuang frescoes of the Tang Dynasty in the context of Matlab.This study is mainly divided into two parts:color extraction and color matching rule extraction.In terms of color extraction,based on the HSV color space,this paper used the optimized k-means clustering algorithm to extract the main color of 135 selected images of women’s clothing in Dunhuang frescoes of the Tang Dynasty.According to the result of the first clustering,the color of women’s clothing in four periods of tang dynasty was further clustered,and the main characteristic color of the four periods was obtained.Finally,the paper summarizes the characteristics of female dress color in Dunhuang fresco of Tang Dynasty by combining quantitative analysis with literature analysis.In terms of color matching rule extraction,the third color clustering is carried out firstly.Then,the association rule algorithm is used to mine the association relation between the data,and the abstract color matching characteristics of women’s clothing in Dunhuang frescoes of the Tang Dynasty are transformed into the output of specific color matching rules.Finally,based on the output color matching rules,this paper makes a quantitative analysis of the color matching characteristics of Tang costume from the perspective of color matching method.This paper has completed the extraction of the color of women’s clothing in Dunhuang frescoes of the Tang Dynasty and the mining of the overall color matching rules of clothing.In terms of color composition,through quantitative analysis of hue,saturation and lightness,it can be concluded that the female costumes of Dunhuang frescoes in the early Tang Dynasty are more clear and soft,magnificent in the late Tang Dynasty,exotic in the middle Tang Dynasty and frugal in the late Tang dynasty.
