| China is a country of rites and ceremonies,and there are many complicated ritualized behaviors in various festivals.In addition to traditional religious rituals,family rituals are also ubiquitous.Family rituals are also considered part of the process of passing down the generation.Family rituals have symbolic significance,which can strengthen the sense of identity among family members,make all members have a common and necessary sense of belonging,and enhance family cohesion.Similarly,family rituals will also have a certain impact on adolescent middle school students.The good atmosphere generated by family rituals will make teenagers feel the cohesion and support from the family and bring changes to their psychology and behavior.In order to explore the influence of family rituals on the happiness of middle school students and the mediating effect of family support and family closeness.Use “Family Ritual”,“Family Support”,“Family Intimacy Scale” and “Happiness Index Scale”to survey 1048 middle school students,using correlation analysis,regression analysis and other statistical methods to analyze the middle school students the collective well-being,family ritual,family support and family intimate degree.The results showed that:(1)There is a significant positive correlation between family ritual,family support,family closeness and subjective well-being.(2)Family rituals have a direct predictive effect on subjective well-being,and can affect middle school students’ happiness through indirect effects in three ways: through the mediating effect of family intimacy;Through the mediating role of family support;Through a chain of mediations of family closeness and family support.The research results further explain the relationship between family rituals and subjective well-being of middle school students and its mechanism,which can provide useful enlightenment to improve the subjective well-being of middle school students. |
