With the continuous strengthening of China's economic strength and technological strength,the domestic demand for Chinese language learning has also gradually changed.The popularity of language tools(such as the AP Chinese exam held in 2007 has inspired American high school students to take Chinese course),towards the interest of language and culture,and Chinese cuisine has also become the express of Chinese culture overseas because of its unique charm.In the course of teaching in the United States,the author found that oral communicative competence is an urgently needed skill for Chinese learners in American high schools.The author combines the experience of predecessors in food culture teaching and experiential teaching,and focuses on performing teaching as the theoretical foundation.In two Chinese four classes,she has developed a special oral course teaching focusing on Chinese food production as an experience and focusing on performing teaching.,Stimulate students' interest and give play to their subjective initiative.This article uses the course taught by the author as an example to study the issue of using the cultural experience of food to develop oral Chinese teaching in the school.After the semester course,a total of 20 students were surveyed and interviewed,and the student's oral test scores for the entire semester were objectively analyzed.Based on this,the effect of the course development on improving students' oral Chinese was discussed.The research path is to first check the information and investigate the students' interests.Then,according to the teaching conditions,combine the theory of performing teaching to develop a design plan for oral English teaching,and then implement it into specific teaching practices.Finally,summarize and evaluate the relevant options and give operational advice.The analysis and research results show that this course can exert certain teaching advantages:(1)provide students with a strong sense of experience;(2)focus on students' interests and meet student needs;(3)be student-centered and reflect the leading role of teachers;(4)The course content is close to life.In general,the course has achieved the purpose of stimulating students' interest in learning and improving their spoken English.But at the same time,there are some things worth improving in this course:(1)the dialogue texts edited by the teachers and students are not perfect;(2)the classroom order is sometimes difficult to control;(3)the students have insufficient after-school exercises;(4)the teaching facility environment and the number of students is high.According to the research conclusions of this article,we have put forward several teaching suggestions for developing this course:(1)adjust the course length,select topics,polish the text;(2)improve the cultural quality of teachers,and consolidate the language knowledge base;(3)strengthen the course post-supervision and enrich performance assessment forms;(4)enhance teachers' classroom organization and management ability;(5)diet theme selection to comprehensively measure multiple cultural factors.
