The self is an important core problem in psychological research.Among them, the study of individuals' understanding of self from the temporal dimension is an important branch in self-study,and the temporal self is a complex system, which can be mainly divided into past self, present self and future self.Temporal self-attitude refers to the individual's cognition and evaluation of past self, present self and future self.It is worth noting that the formation of people's attitude towards the temporal self mainly depends on the experiences in daily life.People extract a relatively abstract self-evaluation from a large number of life events in the past, present and future, and form the attitude of temporal self.In addition, the experience, will affect the individual's perception of the world and the way of self, thus affecting the temporal self-attitude.As the basis of individual life, socioeconomic status may have an important influence on the development of individual temporal self-attitude.Socioeconomic status is the division of social position of individuals or families according to their material and immaterial social resources, since students have no fixed occupation and income, their socioeconomic status is often measured by their parents' income, parents' education level and parents' occupation.Previous studies have also found that socioeconomic status affects the development of an individual's self-concept and self-esteem.In view of this, this study intends to use the event-related potentials(ERPs)technology to preliminarily explore the influence of socioeconomic status on temporal self-attitude and its neurophysiological mechanism.Specifically, this study is divided into two parts, which respectively discuss the influence of college students' socioeconomic status on their explicit temporal self-attitude and implicit temporal self-attitude,so as to determine the influence of differences in socioeconomic status on their self-attitude in different temporal dimensions and their laws, thus helping individuals overcome self-cognition deviations caused by differences in socioeconomic status.Study 1 through the screening of college students' socioeconomic status questionnaire,30 college students with high / low socioeconomic status are selected and asked to complete the self-reference paradigm(SRP)task,at the same time, the EEG information of the subjects is collected to examine the explicit cognition and evaluation of the college students with high / low socioeconomic status on the past self, present self and future self(that is,the explicit temporal self-attitude).Behavioral results show that, compared with the past self and the present self, the students in the high / low socioeconomic status group choose more positive vocabulary and less negative vocabulary to describe the future self.EEG results show that, compared with college students with low socioeconomic status, college students with high socioeconomic status produce larger amplitude of N1 and N2 for negative self-evaluation of time.Study 2 through the screening of college students' socioeconomic status questionnaire,30 college students with high / low socioeconomic status are selected and asked to complete the Go/No-go Association Task(GNAT),at the same time, the EEG information of the subjects is collected to examine the implicit cognition and evaluation of the college students with high / low socioeconomic status on the past self, present self and future self(that is,the implicit temporal self-attitude).Behavioral results show that, the discriminative index of negative vocabulary and past self-association is the highest, the discriminative index of negative vocabulary and present self-connection is second, and the discriminative index of negative vocabulary and future self-connection is the smallest, and the differences between them are significant.EEG results show that, whether the positive vocabulary is self-associated with time or the negative vocabulary is self-associated with time, compared with college students with low socioeconomic status, college students with high socioeconomic status produce larger N1 amplitude. The conclusions of this study are as follows,(1)In the study of explicit temporal self-attitude,college students show more positive attitude and less negative attitude towards future self, which has nothing to do with socioeconomic status, however, compared with college students with low socioeconomic status, college students with high socioeconomic status are more sensitive to negative temporal self-evaluation.(2)In the study of n the study of implicit temporal self-attitude,college students with high/low socioeconomic status all show more negative attitude towards past self, and less negative attitude towards future self, which has nothing to do with socioeconomic status, however, compared with college students with low socioeconomic status, college students with high socioeconomic status are more sensitive to both positive and negative temporal self-evaluation.(3)There is a discrepancy between the explicit and implicit temporal self-attitude of college students, that is,the explicit attitude shows a tendency of positive attitude towards future self, while the implicit attitude does not,but has the same effect on the negative evaluation.
