During the whole life of human, adolescence is the most important period in erecting value and developing self-identity.This study aims to reveal the view of adolescents' towards the rich and the poor,to compare their explicit attitudes and implicit attitudes, and to explore whether the social class of adolescents and different characteristics of the poor and the rich will play a part.We use subjective questionnaires and the Multifactor Traits Implicit Associations Test to measure the attitudes of the students in their first-year of senior high school. The results are as follows: 1 In explicit attitude, adolescent has different attitudes towards the rich and the poor.In terms of overall attitude and emotional attitude, the participants have positive attitudes towards the poor and the rich, the scores are higher than the average;in terms of cognitive attitude,The subjects' attitudes of the ability and appearance of the rich are more positive than that of the poor, but in the social attraction dimension, there is no difference between the two group.2 The results of implicit attitude shows that the subjects' evaluation of the ability, appearance and social attraction of the rich is better than that of the poor.3 The correlation between implicit and explicit attitude in terms of ability, appearance and social ability is not significant.4 Status of the participants doesn't play a role in both implicit attitude and explicit attitude towards the poor and the rich.5 On the whole, the youth's explicit attitude and implicit attitude towards the rich and the poor have both consistency and inconsistency. The implicit attitude can better reflect the truth. This paper expands and clarifies knowledge of implicit and explicit attitude.
