Henan Opera,as the largest local opera in China,is a silhouette of the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation.As part of the intangible cultural heritage,the inheritance and protection of henan opera is very important.The arrival of the new media era is both an opportunity and a challenge for the spread of henan opera.With the great development of society,people's life style and entertainment style have changed greatly,and the appreciation of Henan opera is no longer the mainstream of aesthetics.At present,although the dissemination of Henan Opera is mainly based on traditional mass media such as television and radio,the related new media have grown rapidly in just a few years,mobile video platforms such as Douyin,Tencent video,Volcano Video and Watermelon video,other related apps like WeChat public account,Weibo,and Opera have sprung up.With the increasing use of social media,the communication efficiency of Henan Opera on the new media platform is also improving.However,to some extent,the communication and development of Henan Opera is still restricted by the repertoire is long and stale of Henan Opera itself,bluntly applying new media models,irrational release content,not timely updates,and not cutting-edge usages.In the era of new media,how should Henan Opera take the advantages of new media to spread? What is the future development direction of Henan Opera?Looking across the country,the spread of opera is facing such a test in the new media era.Combining questionnaire surveys and field visits,the author proposes thefollowing aspects for the communication and development of Henan Opera:First,it is necessary to use new media technology to preserve the original Henan Opera materials,establish a virtual museum of the database,etc.to ensure the classicity and integrity of Henan Opera.Second,use5G/VR/AR new technologies to enhance the artistic appeal of Henan Opera,the Henan Opera Festival attracts young audiences to participate,the stage art shall try to restore the charm of the live performances of Henan Opera when it was popular realistically,as well as ensure audience participation during the performance.Third,optimize the content and update frequency of new media platforms,and create official accounts to ensure that the information is instant,accurate,and real.Forth,crawling content that users like accurately with the help of big data,based on which,creating works that are in line with the times under the condition of protecting the original flavor of the Henan Opera.Fifth,stabilize the original audience base and find new users,especially young users.Through early childhood exposure,Henan opera can be recognized.In the process of education,layers of screening can be conducted to find professionals suitable for the new generation of Henan opera successors and communicators proficient in Henan opera for special training,as well as to screen out new fans fond of Henan opera.In addition,the fund support for Henan opera will be increased,and the policy will be slightly inclined.The theater system will be optimized,and the strategy of "Henan opera going out" will be actively promoted,so that Henan opera can be inherited and spread more effectively.At the same time,it can provide reference for the spread of other local operas,make due contributions to the spread of traditional Chinese operas,and contribute to the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
