The Application Of Woodblock Year Painting In Modern Commercial Illustration Design

China's woodcut paintings have a long history with strong folk characteristics,unique styles in shape,color,and composition.However,due to the change in people's lifestyle,woodcut paintings have not kept up with the aesthetic needs of modern people,which leads to the crisis of degradation.On the other hand,in today's image era,commercial illustration is very popular,while woodcut painting is rich in theme,unique in form,vivid in style,all of those injects deep traditional cultural connotation into modern commercial illustration,making the illustration more unique in national features.This paper first expounds on the origin and evolution,genre analysis,material and techniques of woodcut painting,as well as the definition,expression techniques,and application scope of commercial illustration.In this paper,four aspects of woodcut paintings are analyzed in detail.In addition,this paper also investigates modeling language,color scheme,composition rule,graphic design,visual element application analysis of modern commercial illustration,and the design method applied in modern commercial illustration.On this basis,the value of woodcut painting in the modern commercial illustration is explored,and the case analysis of the application and design of woodblock paintings in the modern commercial illustration are carried out.The lifelike themes,programmed composition,exaggerated images,and distinctive colors of woodcut paintings enrich the formal expression of commercial illustration design,help to promote the multiple application of visual elements,enhance the value attributes of commercial illustration,and deepen people's understanding of woodcut paintings,thus achieving great cultural communication and satisfying people's psychological and aesthetic needs for culture,fashion and life.Commercial illustration draws on the theme of woodcut paintings,injects traditional cultural elements into them and enriches the means of creation,which is a process of woodcut paintings adapting to modern life;injecting the soul of woodcut paintings into commercial illustration design is also a continuation of the life of woodcut paintings.
