A Study On The Intertextual Relationship Between Xu Wei's Freehand Painting Of Flowers And Birds In Ink And His Poems On Paintings

As the founder of freehand flower and bird painting in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,Xu Wei not only made great contributions to painting creation,but also made great progress in painting theory compared with predecessors,occupying an important position in the history of Chinese painting.Moreover,Xu Wei also dabbled in poetry,painting,book,literature,opera and other fields and made great achievements,which is the social literature and painting of the middle and late Ming Dynasty A genius.However,through the study of Xu Wei's calligraphy and painting,we find that there are a lot of research works on painting works,and there are relatively few studies on the relationship between Xu Wei's freehand brushwork and poems on painting.Poems on painting can be said to be the most special form of traditional Chinese ink painting,which not only adds Literariness to the picture,but also adds the integrity of the composition of the picture by introducing articles into the picture The combination of poetry,calligraphy and printing in painting is of great value to supplement the content of the picture.Painting poems occupy a large part of Xu Wei's poems.In Xu Wei's paintings,especially the freehand brushwork of flowers and birds,Xu Wei wrote a large number of poems,which expressed the painter's mood when painting,the painter's interpretation of painting theory,and his dissatisfaction with the darkness of the society at that time,and supplemented in emotion and form with language expression However,in the research literature of Xu Wei's poems on paintings,most of them are isolated poems or paintings,and the relationship between them in the unified text is not analyzed in depth.Based on the intertextuality theory,this paper studies Xu Wei's growth,communication process,creative interest,blending relationship between categories and artistic style.It is divided into three parts.The first part analyzes the categories of Xu Wei's poems on paintings,and expounds the emotions and connotations conveyed by his poems on paintings.The second part describes the pictorial features of Xu Wei's freehand brushwork on flowers and birds,and how the painter uses his unique brushwork and ink to express the images in his poems and the combination of his poems.The third part describes Xu Wei's poems on paintings and his paintings This paper aims to reveal the cause,development,style and value of the artistic image in Xu Wei's paintings by combing the relationships between poems and paintings in his works,such as ornamentation,opposition and deviation.At the same time,it introduces the concept of language image and analyzes the meaning of poetry,words and paintings at the level of language image.Based on this theory,it explores the similarities of two different artistic symbols Characteristics of communication,as well as mutual relations.
