Research On Science Fiction World(1991-2019)

The development of science and technology gives more possibilities to human civilization and the future world.The fantasy based on science and technology also bears more practical significance.Sci-fi not only presents the rapidly evolving real world in the form of unfamiliar literature,but also looks at the alienation of life,human consciousness,and civilization from a forward-looking perspective.With the high awareness of innovation and imagination,sci-fi literature is receiving more attention.Science Fiction World that has accompanied the rise and fall of Chinese sci-fi literature for 40 years therefore has important research value.As the only sci-fi journal in China so far,Science Fiction World survives in sci-fi journals with its accurate positioning and self-contained development model.From rectifying sci-fi in the 1990s to making a name for it in the new century,it has always maintained a global vision and an attitude of advancing with the times,making correct judgments on the development direction of Chinese sci-fi literature,and providing a steady stream of excellent resources for Chinese sci-fi literature.Around Science Fiction World,the earliest and relatively fixed group of sci-fi fans in China was formed.They transformed from recipient to participant,individual interpretation also transformed into collective interpretation with typical meanings,the fans' development and changes provide many ideas and values for the study of contemporary Chinese sci-fi readers.From these sci-fi fans,a group of outstanding sci-fi writers emerged.Among them,Liu Cixin,Wang Jinkang,Han Song,He Xi and other writers have become the backbone,their works represent the highest level of Chinese sci-fi literature.The literary style and sci-fi thinking of different writers not only provide diversified possibilities for the development of Chinese sci-fi literature,but also give more inspiration to sci-fi stars and readers.This article analyzes the characteristics of running a journal,the way of communication,the characteristics of readers,and the works of the representative writers in the development of Science Fiction World in the past three decades,and explores its literary value and significance.
