In the social context of consumer culture,as a special commercial product,books must also follow the law of capital to maximize the economic benefits of publishers.In recent years,the book retail market has shown a revival,prosperity,and active innovation.With the help of the implementation of national policies and the upgrading of the book consumer market,the book distribution market has achieved a steady growth trend.In a diverse and homogeneous book market environment,how to improve the market competitiveness and transaction volume of books is the primary issue for publishers.Because of its convenience,speed and low cost,girdle seal has become a powerful method for publishing and marketing.Its main function is to supplement key information not mentioned in the book cover,and to improve the book's information transmission,aesthetic meaning and competitive advantage.Due to the excessive pursuit of the commercial value of girdle seals by publishers,some problems have been exposed in the actual publishing process,and some readers have expressed resistance to the problems of girdle seals.There is an internal logical relationship between girdle seal and consumer psychology.Girdle seal can attract consumers' attention,induce consumers' interest,and stimulate consumers' purchasing motivation.Modern book girdle needs to be guided by readers' consumption psychology to correct and update the concept and method of book girdle design.This article combines book girdle with readers' consumer psychology,taking the development status of book girdle as a research background,sums up the value and problems of girdle in the book market,and analyzes the function of reader's consumption psychology in the design of girdle.Starting from the psychological activity process of reader consumer groups,according to the data summary of the "2019 Chinese BookMarket Report" and "The Sixteenth National Reading Survey Report",the purpose and convenience and pleasure of readers' girdle design are summarized.Three characteristics of sex and personalization,practicality and diversity.This article discusses the layout design,morphological design and functional design of the book girdle based on the three aspects of the book 's spreading effect,emotional experience and the use of multiple aspects.Combining the excellent cases at home and abroad,it proposes the feasibility plan and innovative method of the book girdle design To contribute to the improvement of the economic efficiency of the book retail market.According to the book girdle design strategy proposed above,the book girdle design of the practical project is carried out to verify the feasibility of the research results of this subject.
