With the rapid development of secondary vocational education in China,and also the sustainable promotion of secondary vocational education skills competition in Henan province,these activities can not only better advertise to the society,and display the quality of running a school of secondary vocational education and the educational and teaching achievements,but also they can greatly improve the skill level of students in secondary vocational schools,promote practical teaching of secondary vocational school,and also accelerate the reform and development of modern vocational education.Since the establishment of skills competition of secondary vocational education in Henan province in 2016,it has been warmly welcomed by all the teachers and students in secondary vocational schools and the wildly focused by the whole society,with the combination with "civilized talent "competition in secondary vocational schools,competency competition of students in secondary vocational schools,and Chinese traditional culture competition in secondary vocational schools,they mutually realize the whole coverage of the requirements on the cultivating targets of secondary vocational schools.In this paper,by taking the theories of psychology,pedagogy,and secondary vocational education,on the basis of teaching practical experiment of the author,by means of the research on the skills competition in Henan province and the 5 basic skills competition of "play,dance,speak,sing,and draw",it illustrates the difference of skills competition in Henan province and traditional skills competition,and besides,it has objective judgment on the case instruction,analyzes some problems of these five basic skills in daily teaching and education way from the perspective of competition,and also the influence of skills competition in Henan province on the modern vocational education system in Henan province.In addition,it greatly promotes skills competition,improves the quality of education,puts forward constructive suggestion,and finally,draws the conclusion.There are three parts of this paper.At first,it illustrates the research background,research objective,significance,and related research status in China,which can provide theoretical basis for this subject.Then on the basis of these,it sets up research object,content,and problems to be solved.As to the main body,by means of the illustration on the skills competition of secondary vocational schools in Henan province,it has research on the practical activities of these five basic skills competition,describes the influence of them on the construction and improvement of modern vocational education system,has analysis and consideration on the confusions and problems during the course of competition,puts forward constructive advice to promote the skills competition,so that it can promote and improve modern vocational education system.In the ending part,it has expectation on the future,and expresses the strong desire to promote the skills competition in Henan province,and also the expected conception on this competition in the future.
