Since the birth of video advertising,it has entered an unprecedented period of brilliancy and prosperity in digital art.This paper focuses on exploring the development of video advertising and graphic design and the different artistic expressions using video advertising.To complete this task,it will use a large collection of professional video advertisements from local and foreign professional companies.This sample would then be used to demonstrate the role that graphic designs plays on video designing when communicating a certain idea.Due to its late development,video advertising has become one of the most recent yet late rising star in the industry;this it because it does not have a long history compared to graphic designing.Video advertising exists as a form of art and product of a growing industry.Because of these similar properties that it has with graphic design,it has been closely associated and/or integrated with graphic design.This association can be perceived through not only image based elements,but also in the audio-visual elements.That being said,when advertisements are being released,main elements such as the colors,characters,and images can be used to show its close correlation to video advertisement.Therefore both styles do share a similar method of expressing an idea in these digital times.Currently,as many can see from the growing web,digital technology plays a huge role in it which indicates the importance and relevance of graphic designs on the visual field.Graphic design has a lot of potential for innovation in the digital space,but it lacks on the audio sector since it can not be portrayed in a visual-only field.Any ideas and creative elements can not be fully communicated since the content is missing a section due to the lack of a medium.Based from the previous paragraph,it is clear that audio content or form is essential for any visual expression of art.With the use of different forms of communication,audience's tolerance and remembrance towards an advertisement is increased because it is a better and direct way of delivery.This indicates the main basis for the industry of professional video advertisement and visual effects artists.By combining already existing technology,more innovation can be brought into the industry.As technology keeps advancing,the development of special effects and visual related industries can start to bloom bringing an infinite amount of creative possibilities to the audience.This is a positive thing for video advertisements since it could attract more attention and unprecedented promotion.At the end of this paper,it makes an objective and concrete analysis on the integration of graphic design and video advertising in digital technology,which further explores the pros and cons of this industry thus helping and guiding future researchers in the thought processes behind any future designing.
