Vocabulary problem is an important factor that affects the level of students' language level.Students' grasp of vocabulary will directly affect their ability to use Chinese.Therefore,the selection of vocabulary in materials is particularly important.Research is also necessary.This article uses the Taiwanese Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee's first published Chinese language teaching materials for foreigners Let's learn Chinese as the research object in 2016.The study of vocabulary selection in Let's learn Chinese has some corroboration and inspiration for enriching the relevant theories of vocabulary selection in Chinese materials for foreigners;it can provide references for teachers who use these materials,writers and amendments of similar materials,and make these materials useful.Better serve the international education of Chinese.And analyzes the vocabulary of the material from the following parts;1.Investigate the vocabulary collection of this set of materials by the number of vocabulary distribution,vocabulary level,semantic distribution,and recurrence,discuss whether the selection and arrangement are reasonable and scientific,point out its existing problems,and propose corresponding solutions.Suggestions for Improvement.2.Starting with special vocabulary such as Chinese cultural vocabulary,and investigate the situation of Taiwan's in promotion of Chinese characteristic words to the outside world,with a view to enlighten the selection of relevant vocabulary for Chinese materials for foreigners.This article used the literature research method and then adopted a combination of quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis.The author draws the following conclusions through research:1.Based on the Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and the Outline of Chinese Character Hierarchy as the reference basis for the quantity and grade distribution of the material I learned that the total number of words in this set of the materials is slightly less,and the increase in word increments between elementary,intermediate and advanced levels is not large.Equilibrium,and the words in each stage are mainly grade A word from the point of view of grading.The words of grade D are rarely involved.The level of vocabulary has not been increased step by as the level of the material increases.2.Using the A Thesaurus of Modern Chinese as a reference for semantic classification of words,and using “abstract things” “social activities” “nature and status” as the entry points,it was found that the overall structure of the semantic system of this material is relatively reasonable.3.Taking six times as the parameter standard for the reproduction rate,the overall word reproduction rate is low.4.The cultural words in this set of materials are diverse and complete,and each stage has its own emphasis.The analysis found that when Taiwan's cultural is exported to the outside world,it pays attention to the promotion and dissemination of food culture while paying more attention to expression Values,thinking styles and aesthetic tastes,etc.,for learning objects-Chinese primary school students form psychological cultural identity and cultural belonging.
