English writing is not only the most basic skill that junior high school students need to master,but also an important link in junior high school English learning.English writing can reflect students' ability to use language and highlight students' comprehensive language literacy.However,the current situation of writing is not optimistic,most of the students have problems such as empty content,confused conception,unclear thinking and weak logic,which makes it difficult for most junior high school students to get high scores in English writing and improve their writing level.As the closest method to human brain thinking,mind map is one of the simple and efficient thinking tools.If it can be used effectively in writing class,it will solve the above problems effectively.This study,by exploring the small class background students apply thinking map to overcome the problems existing in written expression,so as to help more junior high school students to solve the problems such as lacking of confidence and interest?unscientific method and so on.This study proposes to use mind map for writing teaching under the background of small class.By extracting two classes taught by the author,30 students in each class are selected as the research object.At the same time,with the help of advanced multimedia and modern educational technology means,writing teaching is carried out in the traditional way in the control class,and writing teaching is carried out for one semester in the experimental class by using the Mind Map.Can the application of Mind Map in junior middle school English teaching help to improve English writing ability?(2)Can the application of Mind Map in junior high school English teaching contribute to the effective writing teaching,that is,to improve the effective writing teaching effectiveness and efficiency?In the course of the experiment,the author analyzes the students' writing achievement and ability through the methods of questionnaire,experimental test andinterview,and tests whether the application of Mind Map can help the effective writing teaching.After a semester of Mind Map writing teaching,the author uses SPSS 23.0software to make a comparative analysis of the experimental and questionnaire results.According to the research results,the use of Mind Map under the background of small class can effectively help students to improve their English writing ability in writing conception,perfect the structure of the article and develop good writing habits.Application of Mind Map is helpful for effective writing teaching.Based on the theoretical basis of effective teaching and constructivism,students improve their academic performance in writing teaching effect;save students' time and speed up writing in writing teaching efficiency;in writing teaching efficiency,thinking map is valuable and beneficial to students,and at the same time,it can also be used for learning.After careful analysis of the experimental results,the author thinks that mind map is the most direct,simple and effective teaching strategy for small class junior high school English writing,and it is also the most popular writing tool for students.Mind Map provides theoretical and practical strategic support for the implementation of effective teaching of small-class junior middle school English writing in China,so it has relevant theoretical and practical significance.
