On The Magic Of Ningxia Literature

<Mysterious Songbird> is a novel published by the famous Ningxia writer Zhang Xuedong in 2008.With his excellent artistic talent and artistic quality,as well as his sincerity and sense of mission,Zhang Xuedong showed his unique style among the young writers in Ningxia,and was hailed as one of the "New Three Trees in Ningxia Literature".<Mysterious Songbird> is the only work of Zhang Xuedong who used magical realism to write the Cultural Revolution,and it is still commendable to look back now.What is valuable is not only to explore and torture the history that cannot be forgotten,but also to show the richness beyond the traditional realist creation of Ningxia literature.This article explores the work of <Mysterious Songbird> from the perspective of magic realism.Is there magical realism in <Mysterious Songbird>? If so,how does magic realism appear in this work? What value does it bring to the development of Ningxia literature? This article will carry out a comprehensive exploration and in-depth analysis of <Mysterious Songbird> with these questions.The main body of this thesis is divided into three parts.The introduction mainly sorts out the research significance and research status,research methods and innovations of Magic Realism,Zhang Xuedong and his work <Mysterious Songbird>.The first chapter discusses magic realism,mainly clarifying the source,development,characteristics and cultural value of Latin realism,and exploring the acceptance of magic realism by root-seeking writers in the new period and the acceptance of magic realism by Ningxia writers.From Chinese literature in the new period to Ningxia literature to<Mysterious Songbird>,the research scope was gradually narrowed down in a funnel shape,and it settled on the acceptance of magic realism in <Mysterious Songbird>.Chapter 2 discusses the "realistic" basis of the magic in <Mysterious Songbird> through historical historical facts and real events,folk beliefs and religious beliefs,and retrospection and reflection of the Cultural Revolution;through space conversion and artistic techniques,a deep analysis of the "magic" Color and meaning displayed in the examination work.The third chapter points out that Ningxia literature lacks novel themes and techniques,and most of them show a tendency of homogeneity and typification.Thedevelopment process of Ningxia literature and the current status of writers’ creation show that the breakthrough of outdated content and forms is imminent.It should never be the only aspect of realism.The magic is a less striking aspect of Ningxia literature,but under intertemporal thinking,there must be infinitely rich connotations to be tapped,regional characteristics under special geographical patterns,The ancient and mysterious Western Xia civilization has made Ningxia a magical soil to be developed.Now we can examine magical realism.Ningxia literature may continue to explore Ningxia ’s native magical realism,which can also abandon the magical realism itself,and realize the magical realism.Relying on the reality,the imagination is full of tension,so as to provide a new thinking for exploring the rich and multi-dimensional development path of Ningxia literature.
