?The National English Curriculum Standard(2011 Edition)? points out that vocabulary,as an important training goal of primary school language knowledge,needs to use language skills comprehensively to practice and take effective learning strategies to improve learning efficiency.Although teachers have achieved some success in teaching vocabulary by means of finger reading teaching and international phonetic symbols,most of the first grade primary school students do not have the ability to recognize and read vocabulary,which is because the inherent vocabulary recognition method is boring and obscure,so the first grade students have weak voice awareness,fail to grasp the rules of vocabulary spelling,and frequently appear vocabulary Therefore,it is very important to provide a simple and efficient method of vocabulary recognition to cultivate students' ability of vocabulary recognition,reading and writing.This paper discusses the applicability of the comprehensive spelling method from two dimensions of theoretical and practical investigation through literature and observation methods,and then applies the comprehensive spelling method to primary school English vocabulary recognition through educational experiment method and tests its effect.Two classes in grade one of h primary school were taken as the experimental subjects,class one(1)as the experimental class,and the comprehensive spelling method was used to cultivate students' vocabulary reading ability.Class one(5)as the control class,the comprehensive spelling method was not used in teaching.During the experiment,through classroom observation and three tests(pre-test,middle test and post test),the changes of vocabulary recognition ability of the students in the two classes are recorded from three aspects of vocabulary recognition,spelling and spelling.Based on the data analysis,it is proved that the comprehensive spelling method can improve the first grade students' vocabulary recognition ability,and the comprehensive spelling method is designed to improve the primary school English vocabulary recognition ability in combination with the teaching practice Maintenance strategy.Through educational experiments,the author finds that there are two difficulties in the application of the comprehensive spelling method: 1.In terms of vocabulary "reading",it is difficult for students to separate and combine phonemes;polysyllabic vocabulary has become an obstacle to students' vocabulary reading;and teachers overemphasize the conceptual knowledge of vocabulary reading.2.In terms of vocabulary "reading and writing" : students have difficulty in phonographic correspondence and memory.In order to solve these problems,based on the principles of step by step and integration,the author proposes five steps of teaching design:preheating,presentation,practice,consolidation and summary,and further refines each step.For example,in the process of vocabulary "reading",through skillful practice of letter and phoneme pronunciation,students' voice awareness can be improved;and words can be practiced in game activities To consolidate the knowledge of vocabulary reading through reading.In "reading and writing" of vocabulary,we should skillfully practice reading and writing ability with the characteristics of lexical sound form,and understand and practice the relationship of sound form in word formation.Hope to improve Chinese primary school students' vocabulary reading ability.
