The Study On Confucian Management Philosophy In The Pre-Qin Period And Its Enlightenment To Human-based Management Of College Students

As an important part of Chinese management philosophy,Confucian management philosophy in the Pre-Qin period covers an extremely rich connotation of management thought.In particular,with the current increase of the importance and frequency of management activities,the pre-Qin Confucian management philosophy can indeed have the instructional function in guiding the management work effectively,which can meet more requirements in management thought in all levels in China.Due to the distinctive personality of contemporary college students and the requirements for university education are constantly improved,which result in the inadaptation of traditional management with rigidness to manage students in university,and human-based management is increasingly important.As a human-centered management thought,the pre-Qin Confucian management philosophy has an inherent connection with the human-based management of college students.In-depth study on pre-Qin Confucian management philosophy has an important enlightening effect on human-based management of college management.First of all,this paper introduces the time background,emergence and development of the pre-Qin Confucian management philosophy,as well as the main thoughts of Confucius,Mencius and Xun Zi.Secondly,the theoretical basis of the pre-Qin Confucian management philosophy is discussed from the perspective of human nature,views on knowing and doing and value.Confucianism believes the malleability of human nature,advocates the unity of knowing and doing,and claims the coherence of justice and benefit.Thirdly,the content of pre-Qin Confucian management philosophy is systematic analyzed,summarized and investigated from five aspects of management: the essence,guiding ideology,means,evaluation criteria and objectives.The pre-Qin Confucian management philosophy was carried out around “governing people”,which is guided by the thought of “benevolent people love others” and “people-oriented”,to achieve the management goal of “self-cultivation and peace with others”through the management method of“utilization of courtesy and law”and the management evaluation standard of “peace is the most precious”.Finally,it analyzes the problems of human-based management of college students and discusses the feasibility of applying the pre-Qin Confucian management philosophy to the humanized management of college students.According to the Confucian management philosophy in the Pre-Qin,put forward to establish the essence view of management with “‘people-oriented ’and respecting the human needs of students”,the leadership view of management with “‘self-cultivation and self-improvement’,improving the moral level and professional ability of college managers”,the control view of management with “‘equal emphasis on morality and law’,the fusion of flexible management and rigid management”,the strategy view of management with “‘harmony and difference’,focusing on the differentiation of student management”,the value of management with “‘harmony is the most precious’,creating a harmonious campus cultural atmosphere” and the goals of management with “‘teaching to be human’,achieve the comprehensive development of students”.
