With the great improvement of human productivity and the rapid development of urbanization,the material living standard of urban residents has been greatly improved.Meanwhile,the spiritual civilization construction in various cities has been paid more and more attention.Urban public art can improve the public's spiritual life to a certain extent,and excellent public art works can provide the public with certain spiritual sustenance.From the perspective of emotional experience,this paper USES four research methods: literature research,field research,questionnaire survey and induction and deduction to analyze and study urban public art.This paper aims to put forward relevant theories of urban public art design based on emotional experience and summarize strategies of urban public art design based on emotional experience.The relevant theories proposed in this paper expand the breadth and depth of urban public art design theory,and the proposed design strategies can provide reference and guidance for designers of urban public art,so that they can create works of urban public art that provide rich emotional experience,so as to improve the spiritual living standard of urban residents.The research content of this paper can be divided into four parts,which are putting forward problems,theoretical research,investigation and analysis,and putting forward strategies.The first part is to put forward the questions,to explain the background,purpose,significance and research status at home and abroad,and to put forward the research content,research methods and research framework.The second part is a theoretical study.Through theoretical analysis of the concept,type,design principle and development status of urban public art,as well as the concept,level,description and characteristics of emotional experience,the paper proposes the concept,description method and design principle of urban public art based on emotional experience.The third part is the research analysis,through on-the-spot survey 18 city public art at home and abroad to put forward the existing problems of urban public art,through 306 network questionnaire survey of urban public art public satisfaction and emotional needs,and through the case analysis of the good city public art summarized urban public art design method based on the emotional experience,provide a basis for later design strategy is put forward and reference;The fourth part is the proposed strategy to Donald Norman,proposes three levels of emotional experience for the design of the framework proposed a universal strategy,instinct level design strategies including morphological shape,colour collocation and the design of material selection,hierarchical design strategies including new media with touch-sensitive functions of public art,public art which has the function of interactive entertainment device,convey multi-sensory stimulation of urban public art and to carry out various forms of urban public art activities,reflection level design strategies including regional culture inheritance,contains city memory and express human emotion of city public art design.Hope that this article puts forward the design strategy of related to urban public art design personnel to provide valuable reference and inspiration,the design has a rich emotional experience of urban public works of art,improve the quality of urban public art and public space,so as to improve the quality of the spiritual life of the public,to provide the city spiritual civilization construction of our country.
