Textual Research Of Notes And Commentaries Of Buddhist Scripture From Tang Dynasty Quote Shuowen

In the period of Wei dynasty,Jin dynasty,southern and Northern Dynasties,the annotation of Confucian classics is the basis of traditional academic and interpretation system,while the annotation of Buddhist scriptures is a new thing in the interpretation system.There are a large number of Buddhist scriptures with unique annotation system,which is an important branch of the traditional annotation system of our country.Correcting the errors in the annotation system of Buddhist scriptures,including the problems of characters and tangency,has a positive significance for deepening the research work of the annotation system of Buddhist scriptures.The writing of this thesis pays attention to the comparison and induction of the corpus and the data.Through the compilation of the language materials of Shuowen cited by the Chinese translation of Buddhist scriptures in Tang Dynasty,combining with the knowledge of Chinese language and Philology,using the modern linguistic theory and the combination of synchronic and diachronic,it combs out the relationship between the ancient and modern materials of “Shuowen cited”,and makes a comparison and induction of the materials of Shuowen cited by the Chinese translation of Buddhist scriptures in Tang Dynasty In the comprehensive study,92 items were analyzed,totally.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which demonstrates the feasibility and necessity of the thesis.The second chapter analyzes the value of the annotation and relevant documents of the Chinese translation of Buddhist scriptures in Tang Dynasty.The third and the fourth chapters are the core chapters.By consulting dictionaries and dictionaries of previous dynasties and all kinds of language materials,the author makes full use of the knowledge of traditional exegesis and modern linguistic theory,combining synchronic and diachronic,and tries to make a textual analysis of the materials cited in Shuowen from various angles and aspects.In the annotation of Buddhist scriptures translated into Chinese in the TangDynasty,the items that quoted from Shuowen mainly refer to the two same connections,while the related items include two categories:Yiti(??)and Yiwen(??).In this paper,the so-called“Yiti”mainly involves the problem of the correct and false prefix,that is,“misinterpretation”;and“Yiwen”refers to the situation that the derivation,inversion,and declination in the relevant sentences of the interpretation affect the accurate expression of the interpretation.Through textual research and analysis,we divide the items of misquoted Shuowen into three categories:misquoted other dictionary dictionaries,misquoted predecessors'annotations,and explained with the text.At the same time,we are quite sure of the achievements of the spread of Shuowen because of XuXuan.The misquoted textual research of Shuowen in the paper is only in possession of new research materials Speculation based on material.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.By sorting out the entries,we believe that the current circulation of ShuowenJiezi,revised by Xu Xuan,is credible to a great extent,although there are a few errors in the examples of characters.At the same time,the research results of these items support Qian Daxin's view that “the Tang scholars and researchers quoted ShuowenJiezi as untrustworthy totally”.
