Objective: Small class infants were taken as the research objects, attachment play as the independent variable, and social self supporting—social behavior as the dependent variable, and to explored the influence of attachment play on the social self supporting —social behavior of small class infants. Methods: Study one was an experimental study, and the pretest and posttest of experimental design between experimental group and control group was adopted. The?social self supporting — social behavior questionnaire of children aged 3-6 ? was distributed in three parallel classes of a public kindergarten, and after the parents filled in the questionnaire, the infant ' pretest scores were obtained. Then, according to the principle of parents' voluntary participation in the attachment play,20 infants whose scores were lower than the average level of the class were determined, according to their scores of social self supporting —social behavior, the matching method was used to form the experimental group and the control group. After 8 weeks of attachment game intervention, and 2 weeks after the end of the intervention, parents filled in the questionnaire again to obtain the infant 's posttest and follow-up scores.Study two was case study, and used single subject A-B baseline experimental design.Through the ? social self supporting — social behavior questionnaire of children aged 3-6?,infants whose teacher and parent ratings were below the class average were selected from two parallel classes, and combined with the interviews with teachers and parents and the observation of researchers,4 infants were finallyselected as the research subjects. The 4 cases were studied over a14-week period, with A-baseline phase was 4 weeks,B-intervention phase of 8 weeks, and a follow-up phase of 2 weeks.Every week, the researcher observed the infants through of ? social self supporting —social behavior observation questionnaire of infant aged 3-6?,and made an objective assessment of the social self supporting — social behavior of the four cases based on the interview results of interviews with parents and teachers. Finally, after the end of the intervention and 2 weeks later, the parents and teachers filled in the questionnaire again to obtain the posttest and follow-up scores of the 4 cases. Results :(1)By comparison of intra-group differences, the posttest and follow-up scores of the subjects in the experimental group were significantly higher than the pretest scores, and follow-up scores and posttest had not significant difference. The pretest scores were concomitant variable, the differences between the experimental group and the control group were compared through analysis of covariance, and it was found that the posttest score of the experimental group had significant difference than that of the control group.(2)Through quantification and qualitative analysis of 4 cases, the results showed that the social self supporting — social behavior level of 3 infants was significantly improved, while that of 1 infant was not. Conclusion: the attachment play intervention program could promote the social self supporting —social behavior of small class infants.
