Social support is the subjective support or objective influence of various social relationships based on social network structure on individuals.It includes objective support,subjective support,and utilization of support in three dimensions.Social support is closely related to mental health.Existing research shows that social support has a positive predictive effect on mental health.Mental resilience refers to the process by which a series of abilities and characteristics enable individuals to quickly recover and successfully cope with severe stress and danger through dynamic interaction.Studies have shown that mental resilience is a protective factor for mental health.Individuals with higher levels of mental resilience have more positive psychological qualities such as happiness,life satisfaction,and optimism.When faced with difficult situations,they can promptly use their positive psychological resources to cope with the difficulties and eventually obtain good adaptive results.In addition,many studies have pointed out that mental resilience plays an important role in regulating social support and mental health.However,most of the existing research focuses on college students,vocational students,and the elderly,and pays less attention to medical students.Therefore,this study took medical students in Guangzhou as the survey object,aiming to explore the influencing factors of mental health and the relationship between mental health,mental resilience and social support.It put forward countermeasures and suggestions.It provides a theoretical basis for psychological health education and psychological consultation in medical colleges and universities,and improves the psychological health service system for medical students,thereby promoting the healthy development of medical students andpromoting the development of national health.Objective Investigate the basic conditions of psychological resilience,social support and mental health of medical students in Guangzhou,explore the influencing factors of medical students' psychological resilience,social support and mental health The intermediary role between medical students' social support and mental health.Methods A self-made demographic data and general situation questionnaire,psychological resilience scale(CD-RISC),social support assessment scale(SSRS),symptom self-assessment scale(SCL-90)were used to conveniently sample 672 medical students in Guangzhou survey.Use Excel2010 to establish a database to input data,use SPSS20.0 to perform descriptive analysis,single factor analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis,regression analysis,and use Process plug-in to test the data for intermediary effects.Results(1)The average value of the total psychological resilience of medical students in Guangzhou area was(60.8 ± 14.459),the average value of the total social support score was(36.09 ± 6.117),and the average value of the total mental health score was(145.25 ± 40.10).Compared with the general college students in China,the medical students in Guangzhou area have a relatively high level of psychological resilience and relatively low level of social support and mental health;(2)The scores of mental resilience of medical students with different gender,family economic status,single parent family,internship and love were different,and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05);(3)The social support scores of medical students with different gender,professional type,family economic status,whether they are the only child,whether they come from a single parent family,whether they are in the internship stage and whether they are in love are different,and the differences are statistically significant(P < 0.05);(4)Mental health scores of medical students in different grades,professional type,family economic status,whether from a single-parent family,and whether in the internship stage were different,the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05);(5)Mental resilience of medical students is significantly positively correlated with mental health(P<0.05),social support of medical students is significantly positively correlated with mental health(P<0.05),social support of medical students is significantly positively correlated withmental resilience(P<0.05);(6)Psychological resilience plays a partial intermediary role between medical students' social support and mental health.Conclusions(1)Medical students in Guangzhou have a relatively high level of psychological resilience,and relatively low levels of social support and mental health;(2)Gender,family economic status,whether from a single parent family,whether in the internship stage,whether in love are the influencing factors of the psychological resilience of medical students;(3)Gender,professional type,family economic status,whether the only child,whether from a single parent family,whether in the internship stage,whether in love are the influencing factors of medical students' social support;(4)Grade,professional type,family economic status,whether from a single parent family,whether in the internship stage are the influencing factors of medical students' mental health;(5)Psychological resilience and social support have a positive predictive effect on medical students' mental health;(6)Psychological resilience plays a partial intermediary role between medical students' social support and mental health.
