| Hui hong is known as "the crown of song dynasty monk".His collection of poems,The Language Chan of Shimen,fully interprets Hui hong’s idea of "lnguage Chan "and the monk’s historical view of "imitative historical biography",which he used to change the decline of the Buddhist temple.This paper systematically demonstrates his poetic creation and literary theory.This paper analyzes the compilation of The Language Chan of Shimen,explains its thought and content,analyzes its language,and sorts out its reception.The first chapter is the introduction of Hui hong,his writings,Jue ci and the compilation of The Language Chan of Shimen.Hui hong spent half of his life in exile,four times in prison and twice deprived of his status as a monk,and his writings are rich.Under the influence of the Song dynasty,which advocated the literary governance,the prosperous era atmosphere of the publishing industry,and the compilation of Chan Quotations of Chan masters,Jue ci compiled The Language Chan of Shimen.The first draft of The Language Chan of Shimen was about six years after Xuanhe(1124),and the final draft was about two years after Jianyan(1128).Jue ci takes genre as the basic criterion for compilation,and then takes time and characters as auxiliary.Due to personal talent and other reasons,there are misreceived,the situation of confusion.The second chapter explains the content of The Language Chan of Shimen.Hui hong has a strong command of language and is good at creating various styles of writing.His poems,writings,Ci and Fu are very distinctive.He used his poems to pay tribute to history,to meditate and to achieve enlightenment,to depict scenery and to chant things and to communicate with others.As a result of the use of different occasions,the poetry presented a fresh and vigorous and handsome two styles.He praised buddhas,bodhisattvas and eminent monks,recorded the construction of buddhist temples,explained his views on the philosophy of Buddhism,his thoughts of" language Chan" and the writing of monk history,and evaluated poems,calligraphy and paintings,show Light show and mighty two styles.Hui hong’s words are used to communicate and sing songs and praise the good monk.He adds new forms,dialects and so on into the buddhist gathas to make it more interesting and readable.The third chapter is the interpretation of Hui hong’s thought in The Language Chan of Shimen.Under the current situation of the decline of buddhist temple,Hui hong advocates taking words as Chan.His thought of "Language of Chan" includes three aspects.First,language and words are the carrier of spirit;Second,language and words are the stage of entering law;Third,language is the medicine to save the decline of Buddhism;Fourth,language and words should not be too dependent on.The original intention of Hui hong’s reconstruction of monk history is explained in The Language Chan of Shimen,which aims to leave a "pledge" for the buddhist practitioners of buddhist temple,and calls on the monks to "know more about the foreword and deeds of Chan masters".He thought that the life of monk good could also be done with the help of meditation,so he reconstructed the history of monkaccording to the historical biography.Hui hong applied the idea of "playing in the joyous Samādhi" of Chan to the field of literature,forming "beautiful word language""play works" "poem into a smile" and other "game calligraphy".Hui hong thinks that the way to appreciate literary and artistic works is "mystery images and fantastic imagination" and explains the idea that "painter" is "non-painter","sound painting"and "silent poetry".The fourth chapter analyzes the language of The Language Chan of Shimen.Hui hong Confucianism and interpretation,Familiar with buddhist scriptures 、 the Confucian classics and Previous poems.A large number of buddhist terms,buddhist allusions and buddhist Chan classics in The Language Chan of Shimen show their"original practice" as monks,and they use classical documents,previous poems,a large number of metaphors,appropriate allusions,and even create their own strange language odd sentences to show their "not like the language of a monk " as poets.The fifth chapter sorts out the acceptance of The Language Chan of Shimen.There are 6 versions of The Language Chan of Shimen,but the original of each one is Jing Shan Zang.Before Ming dynasty,Because of doubts about Hui hong character,affirm the value of his works is not much.Since Da Guan once again advocated"language Chan" Hui hong’s poems and writings were affirmed by the buddhist temple in the Ming dynasty.Most monks imitate Hui hong’s works,and the books of choose literary works began to attach importance to Hui hong.After Wu Zhi-zhen and others edited Selected Poems of Song Dynasty to praise Hui hong as "the crown of Song dynasty monk" and Catalogue of Si Ku Quan Shu made a fair judgment on Hui hong and his works,Hui hong The Language Chan of Shimen acceptance reached a peak. |
