In recent years,many Chinese story films have emerged,which have aroused numerous discussions after their release.They are highly praised,but there are also some critical voices.Since China's film industry entered the market stage in 2002 and in the modern society with the rapid acceleration of globalization,the film industry has not only attracted much attention as an important part of the cultural industry,but also become an important tool to undertake national ideology and national image publicity.As the current mainstream film form,Chinese story film stimulates the patriotism of the public internally,gathers the strength of the nation,and shapes the image of China as a big country externally.This paper focuses on the research on the impact of national policies on Chinese story films.Through the analysis of policies,it can be found that national policies play an important role in controlling and influencing cultural production in China,and political nature is an important factor in the formulation of national cultural policies.In terms of policy formulation,the state highlights and strengthens the political and ideological implications of films,and controls,supports and guides the film types and the structure of the film industry through the functions of screening and screening.These measures have promoted the development of Chinese story films and positively guided them.In fact,they are also the important embodiment of national strategy and the tradeoff between market and politics.It also puts forward some Suggestions on the development of Chinese story films.We should stick to our original intention,create more diversified and high-quality films,and constantly expand the influence of Chinese story and Chinese connotation.
